How should west respond to potential (likely) Russian invasion of Ukraine?

You people are oblivious to the fact that you lost already.
The whole World is leaving you for ...... China.

Eu and US don't support aggression against Russia
They totally do. They supported violent nazi coup in Ukraine with one and one only goal - to start proxy war with Russia. The same way 19 Century "EU" supported and then directly participated in crimean war.

In other news, that resignation spree in Ukraine I mentioned earlier was linked to corruption problem. There is a youtube which lists all these cases in details but it is in russian (by ukrainian)
Corruption is ridiculous. On one video some ukrainian fat piece of shit "bisinessman" goes through line of soviet era vehicles (from 50s) and refers to them as modern. This kind of chutzpah can only happen in Ukraine.

So far it looks like at least seven sites across Iran got hit at about the same time. Defense production, oil refineries, and military bases. There are no claims of responsibility yet but everyone seems to think it was Israeli drones, with lots of speculation as to where they were actually launched from.

Wow. Barbie going nuts this morning.
Always a good sign.
If he ever starts discussing actual realities, it might be time to worry.

There are no claims of responsibility
Actually, that's not entirely true. Clown State of Ukraine claimed responsibility.
I am not making this shit up.

By the way, who was the first man in Space? that's right, Ukrainian.
I am not making this shit up. Ukraine sent their man into space first!
That's ukrainian school history for you.
Another factoid for you, Spaniards (and french) are actually ukrainians, don't argue, they are.
And you know how Kiev thinks about ukrainian language. So any french and spanish here, you better start learning your native language.

Play violent games, win violent prizes.

Likely Israeli drones hit Iran. After all, there's something in it for them.

Well we're seeing what happens when a dovish president and chancellor can't bring themselves to punch a bully in the nose. Perhaps they're indifferent to the orcs terrorizing civilians and stealing children.

I hope out of a sense of their own security, assistance from Poland to Ukraine becomes more aggressive (offensive), if not in deeds than in words defying their NATO partners. The only way forward may be for Eastern NATO members to push the alliance forward.

I don't know if Russia has much of an offensive left in them or if we'd even recognize it when it happened but I'm guessing the orcs in Belarus are being trained for just this occasion. Such as it is; half-asses training of guys pressed into service and poorly accommodated.

I think I would rather see how President Kamala Harris would handle this.

It's all relative, trained orcs versus untrained male pedestrians caught on the street in Odessa.

Speaking of documentation,
Russian anti-war protester interview

This will be shown at the international tribunal in which ukrainians criminals and their western handlers (yes, I am looking at you Victoria Nuland &Co) will be charged.

Googled russian timber and that's what I got.
Does the US get lumber from Russia?
While some U.S. importers are sourcing alternative materials elsewhere, others say they have no choice. In the case of wood imports, Russia's dense birch forests create such hard, strong timber that most American wooden classroom furniture, and much home flooring, is made from it.
No soup birch and flooring for you!

By the way, I vaguely remember that hockey sticks are made from birch. So no NHL for you!

Typical of barbos, he did not source his article, which was published in August. You can find it here:

Six months into war, Russian goods still flowing to US

The reality is that only about 3% of wood imports to the the US come from Russia, but there are some products such as the Baltic birch mentioned by barbos that only come from Russia. So that supply is cut off until the sanctions end, and home manufacturers have to find alternative products for flooring that was being used with the Russian product. Also, the already very high prices for wood products will go up even more. (The US lumber industry sees this issue as leverage to campaign against restrictions on harvests in US national forests.) This is a little painful, but the workarounds will likely replace the use of that birch wood permanently, because Russia will not come back to the same demand for it. After all, the Russian lumber industry lost a huge market when the sanctions hit. Russia will be less able to endure the loss and find it much harder to rebound in the future, when buyers will have found new sources to meet their needs. Russia will be seen as a high risk trading partner for a very long time into the future.

Yup all that and more. Russia has totally screwed their standing throughout the non-dictatorship world. The more they struggle in the quicksand of Ukraine, the deeper they sink, and the more remote becomes any chance of rehabilitating themselves within a lifetime. Looking at the frenetic rate of barbos' performance du jour, it is apparent that this is starting to dawn upon them.

You do realize, that, EU/US/NATO are alone in this? No other country truly supports your unprovoked aggression against Russia.
And even EU is not uniform in this, especially their population.
Can you document this "unprovoked aggression"?
Anything that is not complete subservience is "unprovoked aggression" to Russia. That's how it has always been. When USSR was still a thing, they blamed every criticism of the Soviet Union as "anti-soviet" sentiment and fascism. Now that has been replaced by accusations of "russophobia" every time Russia gets called out on its thuggery.
