How should west respond to potential (likely) Russian invasion of Ukraine?

So then how much longer then? Coming up on three years and you control like 20%, or so? So another 15 years?
It could stop tomorrow if you stop supporting nazi terrorists in Kiev.
According to ISW, ....
Sure they would never lie,
?? Every time weapon shipments are slowed down to Ukraine, Utin steps up his attacks on Ukraine and steals more land. We need to find a way to stop the war, not prolong it.
Well. here is your answer, stop all shipments
And no, weapons is not the problem for Nazi regime in Kiev, it's men, they have ran out of men. Even Blinken says that.

You’re still dodging the question.
No I am not.
It's actually you who is dodging questions.
Then how much longer is it going to take you?

Don't know.
Now go and comment on all my questions you chose to ignore.

So Deep State neocons annulled results of presidential elections in Romania where anti-russophobe candidate won the first tour. Democracy and european values you said?

Is Russia's air and naval base in Syria in danger? Russian war bloggers think so. Opposition forces are cutting off Damascus. It looks like Hayat Tahrir al-Sham is going to take Homs and anyone with Google Maps can see that can't be good for the current Syrian regime. It looks like Assad's days are numbered. Russian naval vessels left their nice warm water port in Tartus. Their air base near Latakia is nearly within artillary/drone range. If opposition forces can shut down flights out of there it should be game over. So far it doesn't look like Assad is getting much help from his buddies.
I don't think there are any good guys here to root for so I'm just rootin' for Russia to lose.

anti-russophobe
Same as a Putinista?
Poor babs thinks winning the epic battle of neologisms confers some authority upon the bullshit he is constantly trying to foist off upon these forums.
Sorry, little one - you still come off as a boot-licking tool. I’m sure you’re not like that in real life. 🙄

I see, Deep State fans prefer ignoring inconvenient questions.

Meanwhile, Kiev Regime is busy with..... writing comic book about ..... Bandera.
Germans are slacking, they could be writing comic books about Hitler too.

How has the overthrow of the Assad regime affected Putin? Putin's misguided adventure into Ukraine, the enormous waste of resources, and the resulting sanctions are directly responsible for Russia being unable to further prop up the Assad regime. Russia has likely lost their bases in Syria and their influence in the Mideast, Mediterranean, and Africa. It was probably difficult to maintain this influence even with the bases, this has just made it much worse. Who gains here? Türkiye. Russia's and Iran's loss is Türkiye's gain in the Muslim world. Erdogan will take full advantage of the situation. And what do Russians with power and influence think of all this? No naval forces in the Black Sea to speak of. No projection of power in the Mediterranean Sea. Bogged down in conflict in Ukraine. The likelihood of rebuilding any naval forces anytime soon are very remote. Regardless of gains on the ground in Ukraine, it is without doubt Putin has deminished Russia's position on the world stage. This is how others of power and influence in Russia are seeing Putin.
Those of us paying attention to this thread have noted time and again all that Russia has lost due to Putin's decision to attack Ukraine, the loss of energy revenue from Europe, the expansion of NATO, the strengthening of neighboring militaries to name a few. And now the collapse of the Assad regime is another major loss. Putin better hope to god he still has a friend in Trump because other than that, selling Russian technology to Lil Kimmy for meat and munitions is all he's got. Even if Trump is able to put an end to this war, I see know celebration in Russia. There is no victory here, just quiet acceptance of Putin's legacy. Maybe the next guy will try being friendly toward his neighbors.

Assad was not overthrown, he simply gave up and retired.
Russia does not really lose much. In fact we can concentrate on defeating NATO aggression.
Turkey wants to keep russian base and so are the new regime, which frankly is weak.
I think we should leave, the only reason we were there was Assad. No Assad - no reason for us to be there.

I am pretty sure before that ou were saying Russia's support of Assad's regime diminished Russia's position on the world stage. So which one is it?
I wasn't, but I would. It is both. It is undeniable the damage Putin has done to Russia and you know it to be true. This cannot be hidden. Before the fall, a brutal dictator supported an even more brutal dictator. Getting any news of the torture that went on in Assad's prisons?

Stop this. You're just lying to yourself.

And as of January 1st, TurkStream will be the only Russian pipeline to Europe. Good luck with that. Erdogan will be dictating terms. Erdogan will also be working on strengthening relations in the South Caucuses. To think only eight years ago, Erdogan complained to NATO that the Black Sea had become a "Russian lake".

No, just lies.

You first.

Could not care less. As far as I am concerned we should stop all gas export.
And Erdogan is way better than Ukrainians and europians in terms of dictating terms.

Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, who was chief of Russia's Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Troops, was killed outside an apartment building along with his assistant when a bomb hidden in an electric scooter went off
Not the first of the evil empire to be exterminated by Ukraine's SBU. Nice to know they are in Russia doing good work.
Russian news reported the Kremlin was fixing to throw him out a window anyways so this is really a Russian victory.
