Hitler versus Putin.
1 Grudges
Hitler had a grudge for the loss of the war and the Versailles Treaty.
Putin carries a grudge against the west for the fall of the Soviet Union. He called it the greatest catastrophe of the last century. He stated he wanted restore the Soviet Union, but walked it back.
2. Propaganda
Media in both wer and are controlled by the state, opposing views not allowed. Jailing of opposition. Corrupted judicial system.
3. Planned conquest.
Hitler laid his pans in Mein Kemph. Conquest for German expansion.
Putin is working to a plan. Ciea was given to Ukraine by agreement. First men in inform aperd without insignia appeared, followed by a morality takeover and sham election. Puyin said Crimea was always part of Russia.
Next Ukraine border regions. Men in uniforms without insignia followed by incursions.
Next full scale invasion of Ukraine. Putin said Ukraine neverr realy existed and was always partr of Russia. Sham elections and puppet mayors in occupied areas
4 Terrorism
German bombing of England trying to bring submission. Use of long rage issues, the Vengeance weapons.
Russia attacking civilians, hospitals, schools.
5 Fear mongering
Hitler stoked fear. Jews as existential threats to the state.
Putin ranting NATO is an existential threat on the verge of attacking Russia.
6 Brutality and destruction
Both in the face of an unwinnable war continued to sacrifice people to hang on to the bitter end.
Putin seems to be looking to provoke a NATO response. Jets and drones violating NATO airspace. Putin has long been backed into a corner. The country is in total mobilization and his rhetoric leaves no off ramp.
Who knows what he will do if NATO shoots down jets over NATO airspace.
