The climate claim might be true in Crimea but its all those pesky large flying creatures called drones that would keep me away. No known repellent. Though I am told that ocassionally there are spectacular fireworks at night.

An oil storage tank is basically a huge incendiary bomb; Ukraine just needed to provide an igniter, and using more than 100kg of explosives would have been a waste.

The pictures I have seen of the fires near Leningrad, Baltic Sea (presumably that is where we are discussing) are more than few 'cans'. Unless the Russkies are making big fires to fool the Ukrainians that they caused more damage than they really did. Again some pictures would be nice.

Putin et al. do not strike me as the types to make fires for nothing. Far more of the turn or burn mentality.
