If mass immigration is so great, then how about the countries that lose all their workforce to the wealthy nations?

Mass immigration - the holy grail right?

So, what about the countries that lose all their workers (ie; Poland) - who's gonna do the work there?

And if they suck them from Bulgaria, who's gonna do the work there?

etc etc....

In Theory free market will eventually equalize wages between London an Poland. I mean if all poles go and work as plumbers in London then wages of plumbers in London drop to the level of Poland.

except in the meantime there won't be enough plumbers in Poland, so who's gonna do the work there?

Do you have any real evidence that the work "there" is not getting done? Mass immigration is a clear sign to the departing country that something is wrong there and it needs to change.

Polish plumbers. They'll just get temporarily paid more as there's more work to be done by fewer individuals. Then that gap will eventually close.

It means equalizing the wages to new lows.

Is there an actual problem with a lack of plumbers in Poland or is this one of those problems that people assume exists because their ideology says so?

I don't want high priced plumbers but at the same time I don't want their wages to go down the toilet and be crap wages either.

Surely if they lose workers then their overall national work rate goes down, ie; the opposite , so how's that fair to them?

Ukrainian plumbers
The OP covered that - ie: who will then do the work in Ukraine, please keep up

err no, because however much you pay them there is still a max amount of work they can do, this does not answer the question

A means the free market neo-lib mass immigration system is a lie, ie: it only benefits the nation that recieves the immigrants at the expense of the others

Ya, and this will create more incentive for other people to become plumbers and plumbers to immigrate from elsewhere in order to profit from the labour shortage in the industry. The same holds true for neurosurgeons, veterinarians and every other job which requires a particular skill.

No matter what other economic system you're arguing for, nothing works as well as capitalism.

In its pure form its a few people capitalising on cheap labour. Only one qualification is needed and that is the lowest bidder is employed. The British worker who owns his own house and has a pension put by can be discounted. After all Bulgarians will share a room and work just for enough to send home to build a house which is much cheaper than where they work. This is of course also called unfair competition aka free movement of people. HK has a prosperous economy but it is also protectionist for its own workforce. Any foreign workers must be paid a local minimum rate. This keeps people earning lots of money in Hong Kong and creating more jobs as they pour money into their own economy.

If the citizenry of departing country thinks it is unfair that their comrades are emigrating away, then they need to change their country. It is no less unfair to them than it is unfair to keep people in a country they don't like.

Sounds ideal for those who control the game. Those who supposedly are willing to work for whatever pay who can't survive at that pay will eventually rebel or die or both. Those making the rules, on the other hand, still pocket whatever they want from those offering and those buying saying they are only covering their margins which they determine.

How does that answer my question? Is there a problem with a lack of plumbers in Poland?

And round and round it goes, more dodging! So what replaces the lost labour force?

Yes, the force lost to the richer country.

How does that answer my question? Is there a problem with a lack of plumbers in Poland?

Poland loses a large chunk of its workforce, so how does it benefit?

And by the way, no, working min wage job in Uk does not allow one to send riches back via Western Union
