If there was any doubt MAGA is a cult

How shit like this isn't a collective kick-in-the-nuts insult to believers is so fucking weird. But that's nothing new I s'pose.

You shall have no other gods before me... You shall not make for yourself an image... You shall not bow down to them or worship them. Exodus 20:3-5.

But them not knowing their own holy book is nothing new either.

Maybe we do need the Ten Commandments in every school because apparently these Christians don’t seem to know them.

Check out this video at a church service of a "Christian worship artist". WTAF?
I don't disagree. But I also don't think its worth your time. None of this is worth the time for any other liberal or Democrat. Or any religious fanatic or atheist either. What is actually worth your time is actual common sense policy (or lack thereof).

You should be looking at up versus down ideology and not left versus right ideology. It is extreme wealth disparity, growing middle class impoverishment, and lack of desire of the young people to start families that should be your cause to say WTAF.

I view this as just one more example how the billionaire class has hooked you and everyone else. Again. They are the ones who probably own and control the media you just posted. Making a big deal out of crazy art shit while the rest of us are eating our cake.

Wow. Do you realize that you’ve just expressed the same beliefs as most leftists?

I agree wholeheartedly, something I never thought I’d write about one of your posts. (Don’t faint!)

The biggest problem in the US right now is the tremendous disparity in income and opportunity.

And most MAGA and people on the right believe or not. MAGA and Occupy Wall Street are fundamentally in agreement economically which is really what counts for a prosperous middle class. IMO Sanders very well would have been elected with many of the same people who voted for Trump if our political process would not have been so thoroughly corrupted during his run.

So we all have to get along much better before a broken political system can be fixed. Meaning that the right needs to ignore unimportant woke stuff coming out their media. While the left has to ignore the religious fanaticism and white supremacy stuff coming out their media ports.

Getting the public to do this is near impossible, the big chain social media just has too much influence over the population.

I've tried to do my best on just this little forum and have failed miserably as everyone can see.

MAGA is about returning America to the 1950s. Fulfilling the dream Trent Lott spoke of, not having the problems the nation did if Thurmond was elected President.

OWS was naive but had a point, MAGA is misinformed and angry at all the wrong things. MAGA are the people that think they, themself, deserve better.

You, like another poster on this forum, seem to go about voting along lines that are in direct contrast to your ideas.

Not just me and another poster on this forum. 99% of all of us. You included. Unless you believe there is not wealth disparity or that it is not a problem, YOU voted for it. You voted for it because that is where we are today and at least half of the problem had to have been contributed or caused by one party or the other.

No, that is part of your problem. A vote for the Democrats isn't a vote for progressive perfection. It is the best worst option available and progresses at least a bit of the causes I think matters. Voting for the GOP would never do that.

The idea that there is something easier, more populist, while actually working is just delusion. Life isn't easy, it never has been. The GOP says "fucking deal with it and shut up!". The Democrats say "here is a hand up... well upish".

The US has a nursing home bed and staffing shortage. And the GOP is whining about transgenders and illegals stealing tax funded benefits they don't even want to give out in the first place.

The idea was a more perfect union, not a perfect union. Perfection/utopia is unachievable. And probably unwise. Certainly lazy. I believe that an essential part of being human is to strive to do better, to be better, to understand more, to love more, to care more, to be less selfish while maintaining a true self, flaws and all.

Not just progressive imperfection though. It was your vote for Hillary and Wall Street (instead of Bernie) and your vote for extreme out of control wealth inequality.

Another words exactly in direct contrast to your ideas.

Each side thinks the other is voting against their own interest. And in this case they are both right. Both can not even be honest about the subject either.

I already noted that the Democrats are the best worst choice. I'm well aware of how things are in politics. My vote for Clinton was to support the right kind of civil rights minded judges being appointed to the benches. The ones that don't rescind rights, but err on the side of expanding rights for people.

Instead we now have a SCOTUS that says the Executive Branch can't regulate the nation without explicit permission by Congress.

Additionally, the wealth inequality really developed once Reagan and the GOP whipped out the laffer curve.

You are against tyranny, yet support Trump.
