Interesting thought! If people did take to that suggestion as "being one of the commandments" - the 11th commandment, if you will. Then you, I and our forum friends would not be here.

I think we're on the cusp of the next major development in Christianity, the unveiling of the quadripartite godhead. God admits with a chuckle that Satan is, after all, a part of the deity cluster. Yes I know the verse well - I think we agree in context, as it seems you're not misinterpreting the text to say this means "it is commanded that all men should be eunuchs".

Pretty much everyone should fit one of the categories, (regardless whether or not we are going by this 'preferred' interpretive reading of yours that suits you ... Or when by reading from the angle of the conventional context that's commonly understood).

Sorry, but the verse does command to say that all men SHOULD want to be eunuchs, and that it is a failing albeit a small one, to not be.

So, why don't you want to be a eunuch learner? What's so bad about it that you just NEED to reject the "holy word"? What are you afraid of? I'm a eunuch right here and I can say unequivocally that my life got BETTER since I made the change.

I mean sure it takes a couple years to get through the system to become a eunuch these days, but what's stopping you?

How would I know I'm not a god? Maybe the question should be "If you were not a god?" Maybe I'm not a fully empowered god, a juvenile god. We supposedly have these ghosts living inside us which according to woo peddlers is the real "us" and all those ghosts are going to fly away to be with all the other ghost creatures. That's pretty cool so that definitely sets me apart from lesser beings.

To the OP, knowing what I do about such alleged creatures I'd kill myself.
