Gefilte, a Jewish dish of ground deboned freshwater fish, squeezed into oblong balls, served cold with horseradish. Usually mocked in the media. "If you don't show up for Passover that'll be more gefilte fish for the rest of us....dammit!" Or "I think gefilte fish are why people fear the Jews."

Anyway, the 'fusion' or cultural appropriation of wrapping gefilte fish in rice as a form of sushi struck me as funny. Kind of like a haggis burrito.
