When my brother and I where teens, no trip to McDonalds was complete without enjoying fries in the parking lot, tossing single fries on the wind shield, and watching the birds flock to the glass for them
It seems like the bird in the reflected image in the mirror is in a slightly different position than the one in the direct shot.

I thought it was just that the speed of light is slower than we thought, so the light that took the long way (via the mirror) left sooner (while the wings were up).
