Yep. I'm kind of surprised the network censors back in those days didn't make the TV female characters wear some sort of a sturdy "camel toe jockstrap" to make the show more family friendly. They went through a lot of trouble to hide MaryAnn's belly button and de-emphasize Batman & Robin's "packages". Even then, the Catholic Church had a fit about it. Seems they lightened up a bit by the time ST:TNG came around.
