Is it racist for a prostitute to reject black men?

I'd be the perfect client for an escort/prostitute. These days, she would need about five minutes of her precious time to service me! :o

'B' is possibly legally acceptable, but that alone doesn't negate racism.
How could 'you're black, so...' NOT be racism?
Whatever the consequence is, it's a consequence based entirely, and baldly, on the person's race.

Where this is an illegal act it will mean the offer and execution of an act of sex for money would not enforceable in law. Hence refusing to engage in an illegal contract because of colour may well not be enforceable. This otherwise may suggest that a prostitute would be forced into an illegal act to avoid any charges of racism. (In places where prostitution is legal there may be an issue where a women who has sex for no money is entitled to choose her partner and one who accepts payment is not).

You might notice that I figure the racism can be detected independent of the actual act under discussion.

Of course, I may be a silly goose for thinking your post has anything to do with the post you quoted as if in reply...

Not sure if this has been brought up before, but should escort ads that say "no blacks" be allowed? (I think they should)

Also, is it racist for a white customer to prefer an escort that has "no blacks" as her policy? I don't use escorts, but I would prefer one who had a "no blacks" policy.

There are gonna be some people who are not gonna laugh at this video:

And there are other people who'd prefer that their accountant not work with Jews or that their dentist not allow Asians in to his business. If someone wants to find someone with a policy like that, it's because they're a racist. While it may be a viable business plan to cater to that demographic by having racially discriminatory business policies, it's illegal to discriminate in that way.

A legally operating prostitute wouldn't be any different. While it may certainly be a viable business plan for her to market herself to a racist demographic, it would still be illegal for her to discriminate in that way.

Digging up an older thread due to current events.

Porn Star August Ames has committed suicide.

It started when she was being booked for a porn shoot, and discovered that her male coworker had done gay porn. Not exactly uncommon, but it was enough to want her to change the casting. She didn't want to engage in sex with a man who has engaged in sex with men. She has shot both male-female and female-female scenes and insists she isn't homophobic.

However, there was an internet shit-storm of politically correct bullying, insisting she was a homophobe for not doing this to the point where she committed suicide as a result.

Did she have a moral right to reject a costar who had engaged in homosexual male porn?

Do the gay porn performers have less stringent testing system? I saw that when skimming, but found no backup of that info.

It seems silly to call someone "homophobic" when there is considerable video evidence of her engaged in same-gender sex.

But yes, she has a right reject a costar for any reason. Whether the reason is "moral" or not to you or anyone else is irrelevant.

Well, I would say that she could reject anyone for any reason, but there are people in this forum - in this thread - who would deny a sexworker the right to choose her partners. I wanted their comments.

Well, I was one of those people and I think they’d be right to fire her for that.

This isn’t about her personal sexual choice, it’s about her performing a business function for a legal business and all the rules and regulations regarding business transactions would apply, including anti-discrimination laws. Actions taken in a workplace are generally more constrained than actions taken in one’s personal life.

They have a right to fire her (or not hire her) for any reason too. *shrug*

Not sure why you feel you have any standing to force anyone to do anything with respect to this.

For the same reason you can force a restaurant not to hang a No Blacks sign on their door.

The fact that her job involves sex doesn’t make it special.

If men are charged more for car insurance because of risk "earned" by men as a whole because of being more reckless than women, then gay men by virtue of anatomical accident of the rectum and HIV transmission combined with behavior (no women acting as a break for "too much" sex) then the statistics mean they should also be treated differently.

A woman saying "I won't have sex with a guy who takes it up the ass from another guy" is the same as hanging a "no blacks" sign on the door of a restaurant.

Good point. We need car insurance neutrality. Kek.

That's absurd. I can't believe you're serious.

So if there's a porn star that only wants to act with their boyfriend you'd use the force of law to make them have sex with anyone and everyone?

On what basis do you claim this right to force women into non consensual sex?
