Anybody can see (and see all too well) that the event of running precedes the event of shooting, and we know if the prior event never happened, the latter event wouldn't have happened, but where there is no causation, there is no justifiable blame--so, leave your keys and adopted kids in the car while walking hand in hand in bright colored clothing. Do nothing wrong, and you shouldn't be blamed.
