Jerusalem Gay Pride: Six stabbed 'by ultra-Orthodox Jew'

Oh the irony of someone who literally referred to a gay pride parade as a 'freak show' accusing others of narrow-minded anything. You *really* don't have any awareness at all, do you?

No, and I don't have any sanctimony either! But spare your misplaced concern for them - they actually regard themselves as freaks otherwise they wouldn't dress up and showboat themselves like they do.

These people:

are as ordinary as any other collection of human beings, and as deserving of respect and consideration. Concern for them is not misplaced, especially when they have been brutally attacked for no other reason than that they are no longer hiding their existence.

It's a total freak show. Look at this degenerate pervert flaunting his wares for example:

Really? Blaming the victims? All they did was walk around on the street, maybe wearing a pro-lgbt tshirt or sign while they did it. That's not "flaunting" it; and even if they *were* flaunting it, they have every right to do so without some psychotic asshole trying to stab them to death for it.

It just goes to show that not everyone 'celebrates' homosexuality? Provocateurs must expect unwanted reactions. If they didn't flaunt it they wouldn't attract extremists.

Blaming the victims is always a sign of advanced higher order thinking.

Wearing bright colors makes someone a freak?

It does not matter how they regard themselves, but the people in these photos don't seem to be doing anything that should label them as freaks, they are still not to blame for getting stabbed by a psychotic who thinks he is doing the righteous work of his invisible lord and master.

Such blatant showboating! There's colors and everything! And it's hard to argue with the whole 'dressing up' thing! They're all wearing clothes! One of them is even wearing PLAID.

Wearing bright colors makes someone a freak?

Yes, very colourful isn't it?

Is that from a gay pride march in Jerusalem or Spring Break in Miami? I can tell it's not Las Vegas on a weekday because they're not wearing sequins.

*hint* the folks in Jerusalem were carrying signs written in Hebrew.

Looks more like a queers' orgy than a march to me!

I believe it's called "twerking". Sometimes they show it on TV here in the US:

but that's got nothing to do with people walking in a parade in Jerusalem, unless you have evidence of Miley Cyrus-style behavior among the participants.....?

How many more bloody times - I was making an observation about homosexual parades in general!

So are you are telling us that you were derailing this thread with more of your homophobic nonsense, or are you suggesting that the people in Jerusalem deserved to be stabbed by a religious terrorist because a few homosexuals in some other parade in some other country twerked like heterosexuals do.

Leaving your key and kid in your running vehicle doesn't make it the drivers fault when the kid, key, and car go bye-bye.

Leaving the scene of a traffic stop (while black) doesn't make it the drivers fault when he is shot.

Leaving this world with a knife wound in your back after being actively engaged in the destruction of traditional values held near and dear by a nearby crazy person in no way suggests we should lay blame on those people exiting the scene of life.

The point is we should be conscientious of where to lay blame. If honest Crazy Carl who means what he says and says what he means says to stay off his property or he'll hunt down your family, kidnap your family, and force feed them grits, then three things are gonna happen and somebody ain't gonna want no grits for awhile. You knew what was gonna happen (or at least had dang good reason to know) when you trespassed, but no, it's not your fault and so, no blame should be cast on you.

Our police officers shouldn't unjustifiably shoot black men. We see wrong doing of the black man that unlawfully takes off, but that doesn't justify the killing. Anybody can see (and see all too well) that the event of running precedes the event of shooting, and we know if the prior event never happened, the latter event wouldn't have happened, but where there is no causation, there is no justifiable blame--so, leave your keys and adopted kids in the car while walking hand in hand in bright colored clothing. Do nothing wrong, and you shouldn't be blamed.

Why not both?

One of the victims, 16-year-old Shira Banki, has died from her wounds

Banki was a high-school student from Jerusalem, studying at the Hebrew University High School. She took part in Thursday's parade to show solidarity with her LGBT friends. She is survived by her parents and three siblings; her family decided to donate her organs.

The teenager is dead. You see her in the picture. She is wearing a t-shirt and jeans and waving a sign. And some rabid religious extremist who probably worries about his own sexuality took it upon himself to stab an unarmed teenager in the back since he's so courageous for the faith.

Do they have capital punishment in Israel?

Unfortunately, no.

Can you please quote what I said which you consider was homophobic? Thank you.
