What beero said. Your tribe is seven billion. It's not just rich, white, spoiled, weak males and the deluded women who support them. Right wingers are too stunted by infantile fears to understand anything about protecting human beings from harm (except for their in-groups and of course, for that beloved fantasy of shooting bad guys). That's what regulations are for - protecting human beings. However, right wingers love protections for bankers, corporations, military complexes, and "saviors" who just want to consume our country and its citizens.

Making sure the corporations are free to poison and kill people without consequence doesn't preclude one from being authoritarian.

Making it a crime to get medical care or to ingest various plants (both things Trump is doing via increasing the war on reproductive-choice and drugs) inherently makes one a rabid authoritarian.

Then there are his repeated advocacy of violence against his political opponents and anyone whose speech he doesn't like, the loyalty oaths to him personally and not the law or the country that he demands from other public servants, and the countless efforts to block citizen's and Congress' access to basic information that is supposed to be public about White House activities almost every Federal agency from EPA, CDC, FEMA, and Dept' of Energy and Argiculture to the FBI and DOD.
