"I got my whole life hanging in a sack, heading out into that wide world wide."

Out of contest:

<picture would go here>

"Help, I've fallen, and I can't get up."

---

Okay, I give up. Somebody tell me how to post pictures.

I right-clicked on the picture and selected "Copy image location."

Then I came here and clicked on Insert Image.

I clicked the from URL tab.

I pasted in this: http://talkfreethought.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=5845

And I still get the message, "Error: Invalid File"

Help!

If it is a picture that is already a TFT attachment (as the URL indicates it is), then you can just use the [ATTACH=CONFIG][/ATTACH] tags, wrapped around the four-digit attachment ID to insert it. So:

[ATTACH=CONFIG]5845[/ATTACH]

will result in:

View attachment 5845

[IMG][/IMG] tags need a url that refers to a .jpg, .gif, or .png image in order to work properly; so [IMG]http://notarealwebsite/photos/coolpic.jpg[/IMG] will work, but [IMG]http://notarealwebsite/photos/coolpics.html[/IMG] won't.

If in doubt, save the image, and then upload it via the 'From Computer' tab in the 'Insert image' dialog - that will upload the image file to TFT, and generate an appropriate [ATTACH=CONFIG][/ATTACH] entry for you automatically.
