Trump Administration tries to AlFranken Bob Mueller

Yes, that's right. They demand no investigation of BK because there must be no noise during election. Then President Twitler McCrazyPants speaks at his rallies using your taxpayer money to attack media and Democrats. Then they engage in all kinds of other election tactics like blame game for the Nazi shooting up the synagogue. Now in their latest attempt they tried to hire women to accuse Bob Mueller of impropriety while they had already implicitly demanded nothing come out of the investigation before the midterms. This way they could make it go away both temporarily and then permanently.

Mueller Asks FBI to Probe If Women Were Offered Money to Make False Claims About Him

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has asked the FBI to investigate allegations that “women were offered money to make false claims” about him, according to his spokesman.

“We immediately referred the matter to the FBI,” Peter Carr said in a statement Tuesday.

A series of emails sent to a Bloomberg News reporter this month included allegations that a woman was approached and offered money to falsely accuse Mueller of sexual misconduct.

To be fair, there is no evidence it was the Trump administration itself that allegedly tried to pay this woman to file a false allegation. There are plenty of brainwashed Trump sycophants out there who might have planned this deception on their own.

So it is your position that the group doing the brainwashing is not responsible for the actions of the brainwashed?

It is unlikely that anything could be traced back to Trump or the White House. Something like this would be Roger Stone's bailiwick. Recall that Stone was the one who had advance knowledge of the first allegation of sexual misconduct that would come out against Franken. It is easy to imagine that he was behind the publicity that ultimately forced Franken's resignation and wrecked his political career.

The office of the special counsel has referred to the FBI an alleged scheme to pay a woman to falsely accuse special counsel Robert Mueller of sexual assault, the Atlantic’s Natasha Bertrand reports.

Peter Carr, a spokesman for the special counsel’s office, confirmed that the matter has been referred to the bureau.
...

According to Bertrand, the special counsel’s office became aware of the offer after “several journalists” were contacted by a woman claiming she was offered $20,000 “to make accusations of sexual misconduct and workplace harassment against Robert Mueller.”

The woman, in a letter obtained by the Atlantic, told journalists a GOP activist named Jack Burkman “offered to pay off all of my credit card debt, plus bring me a check for $20,000 if I would do one thing.”

It is unclear where Burkman made this offer or somebody purporting to work for Burkman.

Scummy, scummy, scummy!

Franken was a complete fool (spelled l-i-b-e-r-a-l), who should have just said, "I didn't assault anyone and that picture proves it. What it shows is me making a moderately funny joke ABOUT assaulting someone during a time when such a joke was in far less bad taste than it would have been if I made that joke today, which I didn't. You are just seeing the joke I made years ago today. There is a difference".

Ya.. I can totally hear his voice saying that too. I sort of liked that guy when he was a comic.

I am listening to MSNBC with Ari Melber. A women name Jennifer Taub was contacted by somebody from something called Surefire on October 22 trying to get her to state that Mueller had sexually harassed her. She had never met Mueller. It is obvious that there has been an organized effort to target Mueller. No telling how many other women have been contacted at this point.

Agreed. This has Stone’s stench all over it.

Seconded.

Things get even more bizarre. The woman who supposedly was contacted to smear Mueller apparently does not exist. That was a con. Why? To trap the press into reporting something that then fails to pan out embarrassing the "fake news" MSM? While smearing Mueller?

...

“When we learned last week of allegations that women were offered money to make false claims about the Special Counsel, we immediately referred the matter to the FBI for investigation,” said Peter Carr, a Justice Department spokesman who has been detailed to the special counsel team since its inception last year.

But the problem is, there’s no evidence the woman worked at the law firm with Mueller, or that she even exists. A spokesman for the law firm, which now goes by Pillsbury, told HuffPost that there was “no record of this individual working at our firm at any time.”

HuffPost conducted a public records search to locate the woman, but could not definitively tie her to a known person. It’s not clear if she really exists.
...

Da fuck? They can’t even get an actual woman to take the time to be in the same building as him first?

I’m all for destroying the lives of innocent people for partisan political purposes during a close election, but put some fucking effort into it, you lazy dipshits.

This just gets better and better...

In addition to using his mom's phone account for his fake intelligence firm,

> his own email is listed as the owner of the website domain

> the website photos of people supposedly working for the fake firm are confirmed as stock photos and at least one photo of an actor named Christopher Waltz

> per the alleged document, Mueller supposedly did this on a specific day in 2010. Reporters have already confirmed that Robert Mueller was on jury duty that day.

Even imaginary women must be believed. </feminist>
:hysterical:

But to be more precise. This imaginary woman must be heard. We still do not have to believe this imaginary woman. At least not until Mueller's credibility is torn into shreds first.

Yes, but not in the way you meant it. All such reports should be investigated, not pre-judged or dismissed out of hand.

Lol no.

But I am curious what happens if a woman does come forward with such allegations against him. Will people here be saying we must believe her? Will they question his demeanor if he responds negatively to the accusation? Will they push for his removal, and serve Trump in doing so?
