The details, IIRC, are that their was a franchise in the east coast that was shutting down during a spring break that had a lot of black attendees. I think the opposite. We should not be punishing people for private comments. Especially not those made in anger during an argument.
There is also an issue of double standards. Al Sharpton is orders of magnitude more racist than Sterling and yet he was never punished for his very public thoughts and deeds. Instead, he is being rewarded by getting his own show on MSNBC.
