New theory on how life began

Right!
Then the bible came along and Gods people started following Leviticus' hygiene regulations and learning about concepts like the sanctity of life and treating others as you want to be treated. And they became prosperous enough to dig wells (like Jacobs Well) and accumulate livestock.

The Bible didn't come along till long after Leviticus was written, but I vaguely get what you're saying.

Although it seems odd that an all-knowing God would tell people not to eat pork, so as to avoid trichinosis, but then forget to tell them to wash their hands after pooping, so as to avoid e.coli; and to keep the latrines a good distance from their wells (or dispose of their waste downstream of where they collect their drinking water), to avoid cholera and dysentery; and any number of other simple and easy hygienic rules that took until the 19th century, and the germ theory of disease, to discover.
