Obama has done it now - Nine Shot dead in church

I've almost never heard of any case that Derec links until he links it here. I think he must subscribe to some site or database that links specifically black and female criminal cases, to prove that white men are under siege and should arm themselves accordingly and do whatever is necessary to maintain control.
Ya think? What is disturbing is the ease in which he brings up cases none of us have heard of, but demeaning photos as well. All of it in his folder, just itching to be put into a post.

This is not the first shooting where it has been mentioned the shooter reloaded during the shooting.
I will rephrase in order to give you a chance to give a relevant response. Perhaps you could cite some examples or statistics to give those of us who have never heard of people rushing and disarming a shooter while he or she reloads outside of the movies or TV in order to give some real life context. Just to be clear, this means an example (or examples) that occurred in real life.
Honestly, if you are hiding, are you going to peek out to find the shooter in that 3-4 second pause to reload? There are many scenarios. In order for us to play armchair quarterback we will need to know where everyone is at all times during the shooting.

That racist cop killer is a cause celebre among the far left. It is pretty inconceivable you never heard his name. He is pretty well known, infamous even.

Maybe he isn't well known since the events happened over 30-years ago and cop killings are never popular no matter what propaganda you may hear. And If Jimmy is far left, I must be sitting somewhere in the Oort Cloud.

Remember the old Chinese proverb:

"Of the Thirty-Six Stratagems, the best one is to run away."

I'm afraid I've never heard of him.

Is it possible you don't know as much about left-wingers as you think?

We ARE a consistent source of disappointment to conservatives. Either we're too left wing or not left wing enough....

But it's a common enough theme. I'd never heard of Anthony Flew until thumpers started to tell me about the World's Most Notorious Atheist, my alleged hero, and his conversion to Christ.

Really? Which professionals? Because the professionals teaching the active shooter (law enforcement, Homeland Security) response training say differently. You might want to actually take a look at the links I provided or research "active shooter response". It also includes methods for not getting shot if you are armed and the police arrive. (They state not to expect them to tell the difference between you - the good guy with the gun or the shooter - the bad guy with the gun. They just will be going for the guy with the gun.)

They're saying evacuate, hide, fight--in that order.

Since neither evacuate nor hide is viable in this situation that leaves fight.

Let me guess, you would have fought?

That actually makes me worried. The SC shooter said he was motivated after reading about all the black-on-white crimes on the Council of Conservative Citizens website. (CCC? really?)
Whenever someone brings up these examples of 'liberal heroes' or liberal 'cause celebre' that most liberals here have never heard of, I wonder if they are reading the same kind of websites. How many people are being influenced by such delusional propaganda of what 'liberals' are like? Not that every one who believes them will become a crazed killer like this p.o.s., but it can lead to people downplaying his crime, or even defending it. Eric Rudolph had his defenders after all.

It is amazing how "forgetful" lefties on here can be. It's not like Mumia Abu Jamal is some obscure case. He was called "the most famous death row inmate" with many supporters, including in Europe (he, a convicted cop killer, is honorary citizen of Paris and a street there was even named after him recently). A supporter of his was nominated by Obama to be assistant AG but the nomination was derailed after even some Democrats refused to vote for him because of his support for the guy people on here claim to never have heard of.
Senate rejects Obama appointment of Debo Adegbile to top civil rights post

I wonder how long will be until Lefties start to suffer amnesia again and who they will forget next.

As far as going to sites like CCC, no need. One can read all about MAJ from his supporters such as:

And yet nobody here ever heard of him. Curious.

So, you can find a post where someone on this forum ever mentioned him before in their lives? I couldn't. You seem to be implying that we're all lying to you and we actually had the first clue who this dude was before you pointed out that we're all supporters of his but just don't want to admit it.

Well, then we must be righty tighties then.

So the Left is taking it's orders from the French now? And you seem to know way more about these people than people who you consider "left".

Did Mumia Abu-Jamal help Rooff shot black people in Charleston? Why is Derec talking about a black man who is NEVER getting out of prison in a thread about about a white man who kill nine black people in a bible study class? Got nothing else to blame on the black victims? So now Derec moves the conversation to where he feels he has firmer ground to hate black people because on one guy that most people here have never heard of?

Pathetic. Absolutely pitiful and pathetic

Well he did contribute his share to poisoning race relations in America.

Hopefully. He still enjoyed a life that is twice as long as that of his victim so far.

I merely mentioned his name in a response to Malintent where the talk was about anti-death penalty activists and how, unlike Mumia, Roof was the wrong type of murderer (wrong skin color, wrong political ideology) for them to rally around. It would have stayed at that had it not been for people getting all defensive and implausibly claiming never to have heard the name.

By the way, Mumia Abu Jamal, the racist murderer, dared to write about his fellow racist murderer Dylan Roof. Doesn't he realize he morally no different than Roof (albeit 9 times less effective)? Mumia Abu-Jamal on the Charleston Shooting

Pathetic. Absolutely pitiful and pathetic
My thoughs exactly about the risible claims that people have never heard his name. By the way: have you heard of MAJ before this thread?

implausibly claiming never to have heard the name.

You are correct. We all have giant posters of Mumbia Abdul Jabar or whatever his name is hanging on our walls with votive candles lit with eternal flames.

Seriously, this guy is a convicted murderer, and from what I have read: rightfully so. Why would anyone outside of historians or the deluded discuss or venerate this dude?

Derec was MAJ in Charleston last Wednesday night?

*nevermind, this Mumia abu-Jamal derail has gone on way too long already*

Lets get back to talking about how the blacks in the church were responsible for the high death toll.

Anything that distracts from a conversation about how the white guy might be somewhat to blame doesn't count as a derail.

Al Sharpton! Has anyone mentioned Al Sharpton yet? Every time something happens to "the blacks," we're supposed to either predict the imminent arrival of Al Sharpton, or if he's already come and gone, roll our eyes and wonder aloud why he speaks for the black community.

I really hate the way that Sharpton is trying to turn this tragedy into some sort of racial issue.

Drop the political agenda for a day, dude!
