One of the most popular amongst Scientologists was an Atheist. Can anyone guess who he was?
Another clue is he was a humanist (and won a Humanist of the Year award). He didn't believe in Scientology or do any courses and he was trained as a psychiatrist.Well, it wasn't Elron. He thought he was god.

There's no mention about ear candling.
The description sounds like the book and articles and echoes the New Yorker The books tend to resemble each other a lot with one or two differences but will be essentially the same. Apart from the entertainment value, the film is not likely to be objective, but will it be different? There's no mention about ear candling.
