Yep, reading through that was pretty jaw dropping. I can see why the "Justice" dept wanted to keep it all covered up.

It's probably too long for the tumpsters to read though, so they are safe in their bubble. And as long as Moscowmitch can keep it from being introduced in the senate, rubio, et. al. can continue to pretend it doesn't exist.

I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist but if I were Trump and his henchmen I'd release the WH memo just to give it lots of attention and get this whole thing at worst to the Senate, witness free, for dismissal. I'd not want any more detail by anyone else provided. But the longer this goes on the more detail comes out.

WASHINGTON — The day after the House cast historic votes to impeach President Trump, Speaker Nancy Pelosi put an abrupt halt on the proceedings, holding back from sending the charges to the Republican-led Senate in a politically risky bid to exert influence over the contours of an election-year trial.

With some leading Democrats pushing to delay transmittal of the articles and others advocating that they be withheld altogether, the limbo is likely to persist until the new year. The House left town on Thursday for a two-week holiday recess without taking the votes to appoint impeachment managers, which is required to start the process in the Senate.

“We are ready,” said Ms. Pelosi, who has said she would not send the charges or name the lawmakers who would prosecute the case against Mr. Trump until she was certain of a fair process for a Senate trial. “When we see what they have, we will know who and how many we will send over.”

By withholding the articles, Ms. Pelosi is hoping that Mr. Trump — who is eager for a trial to present his defense and clear his name — will put pressure on Senator Mitch McConnell, Republican of Kentucky and the majority leader, to commit to Democratic demands, including the ability to call witnesses during the trial.

By withholding the articles, Ms. Pelosi is hoping that Mr. Trump — who is eager for a trial to present his defense and clear his name — will put pressure on Senator Mitch McConnell, Republican of Kentucky and the majority leader, to commit to Democratic demands, including the ability to call witnesses during the trial.

She wants information to become public, which is what is happening. She knows a trial in the Senate at this point will not allow that to happen.

No one is truly impartial. But they did invite Trump to provide his own witnesses and even invited Trump himself to testify. The witnesses that were Trump supporters testified he did commit the crimes he is charged with. The republicans are trying to block all witnesses. It's not the dems that are trying to rig the trial.

Bullshit it didn't. The Mueller report found plenty of links, just not enough to charge conspiracy, mainly due to the fact that clandestine communication methods were used. It says so right in the report.
