Pelosi: Impeachment Is Moving Forward

The Bottom line is still this. The Democrats make a mockery of their name by trying to deny those people the right to pass judgement on the Trumps presidency later this year. And that they have never accepted that Killery lost in 2016.

Because that's how it works right? When you get caught cheating in a math test, the teacher just lets you finish the test and grades it normally? No. That test gets torn up and thrown in the trash.

Trump was caught cheating an election. What kind of person with any respect for the constitution or democracy just ignores that kind of abuse? Trump cheated and the right thing to do is to call him out on it. And just like the math teacher, after you call him out, you throw away Trump's corrupt campaign. Failure to enforce the rules emboldens cheaters and legitimizes corruption.

There was a time when conservatives cared about principles, and law and order. I wonder what happened.

And how exactly did the Trump cheat his election, by the Russian collusion hoax? You're behind the times man/woman! That's old discreteted news!

Your post is fake News. Roger Stone did collude with Russia. He's going to jail because he's a traitor. So are most Republican politicians. Traitors.

When they all go to jail, they will need Nixon tattoos for protection.

It’s weird, bully behavior. You do it a lot. The “own the libs” mentality that doesn’t think deeply about any actual policy or current event, merely reacts to the scorekeeping propaganda that is fed.
It is as if the right-wing exists just to troll liberals. They don't care their taxes went up under Trump due to the tariffs or the deficits are above $1 billion during economic growth or the pal'ing with despots. They don't care because it makes liberals upset... so that means it is good. When did America become so petty?
It started with Reagan (well, maybe Nixon), and IMO, has a lot to do with the ironically named 'moral majority'. They used religion as a bludgeon and pretty much defined dems as the enemy. Add 40 years of propaganda and you get what we see here.

The sperm stain on Monica's dress came from?

1) Half-Life doesn't have the dress.

2) It's only evidence of sexual behavior, not of wrongdoing.

Even Hillary showed how much she didn't care by not divorcing the guy. Money talks. He was the President. Why would she gain a moral compass and divorce for adultery when she had all that fame and fortune?

And you guys complain about Trump's morals.

Because we are focused on different things. I don't care about a president committing adultery. Something like half of them are known to have. We have no indication that Clinton did anything at all nonconsensual--the only claims of that are pretty obvious put-up jobs.

However, His Flatulence is well known for his grab-them-by-the-pussy remark--a clear indication of nonconsensual behavior that warrants jail, not the Presidency. There's also the issue of going into the dressing room at the Miss America pageant. Again, very much nonconsensual.

I don't care what informed, consenting adults do in private and I care little about what they do in public. I most definitely care when there's a nonconsenting person involved, though.

I am an American citizen. I want to know if Biden is corrupt. This would help us make an informed vote at the polls. Suppressing evidence does not allow people to make an informed decision.

Saying, "I don't want Trump investigating Biden!!" means you are complicit in not giving the American public all the facts. Is that what "freedom" means in America? No way!

You utterly misunderstand the situation.

I would like to know if Biden is corrupt, also. However, His Flatulence's impeachment trial is not the place to dig into it! If there were a proper judge running it (I'm not saying Roberts is an improper judge, it's just that it doesn't follow normal trial procedures) any attempt to bring Biden into it would be met with "Objection, irrelevant." "Sustained."

What I would like to see: You throw your hat in the ring for Congress or the Presidency and they immediately start doing a top secret security clearance check on you. (You're not allowed to appear on a ballot without having started the procedure.) Any substantial non-cooperation with the check and you're off the ballot. While the check will likely not be complete by election time an interim report is released one month before any election (primary and general) that you're in. Losing stops the check, if you win it continues but any additional releases only happen if you run again.

Note that the check does not disqualify you from anything, it's merely reported. You may bow out of the election at any time which will stop the check and prevent any release, but in doing so you render yourself ineligible in that election even if you should win. (No winning by write-in votes.)

'GAME OVER,' Trump declares, as old Bolton, Schiff videos surface amid Senate impeachment trial
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...face-amid-senate-impeachment-trial/ar-BBZsDjq

"In his tweet, Trump linked to an interview of Bolton in August 2019 where he discusses Ukraine policy. In the Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty interview clip, Bolton made no mention of any illicit quid pro quo, and acknowledged, as Republicans have claimed, that combating "corruption" in Ukraine was a "high priority" for the Trump administration."

That's an absence of evidence, not evidence of absence.

He would only testify if subpoenaed? Of course, anyone would. He has to by law.

Besides, we know people lie under oath. See Bill Clinton. "He said it under oath!" doesn't mean much either. O.J. said under oath he never killed anyone.

His Flatulence has required non-disclosure agreements. Testifying without a subpoena could get him sued.

As for Clinton--what is consistently ignored there is that the Republicans had already defined sex as penis-in-vagina. All he did was third base--not sex by their definition. Clinton exploited a mistake by the other side, he didn't lie under oath.

So a blowjob and sticking a cigar into a vagina isn't sex? Since when, the Clinton era?

In legal matters context is very important, as well as precise definitions.

You missed the part where the other side had defined sex as penis-in-vagina.

How was it not impartial?

You're basically saying, "If they don't agree to remove Trump, then they are not impartial!" Sounds very authoritarian-like.

Hitler: "If they don't agree that killing Jews is right, they are not impartial!"

Why can't it just be that cooler heads prevailed in the Senate? The Dems were exploding with fantasy after fantasy and lie after lie that the Senate just calmly shut them down, sort of like a parent calmly prevailing over their screaming child.

They were talking about impeachment since Trump got elected. It wouldn't surprise me if they are talking about starting another impeachment case and swearing to the public, "We're really gonna get him this time!"

There JOB was to have a trial. They refused to do their job out of fear of Trump. Having an impartial trial means listening to witnesses and evidence, then forming a conclusion. Instead, they refused to listen to a conservative witness. Meanwhile, Twitler has undermined democratic elections. He's a traitor.

The vote was 51-49 against the witnesses. It wasn't like it was a landslide in favor of trump. The vote was very impartial. Dictators don't go through the Senate with votes. Calm down.

As has been stated, Dems had their chance to prepare a case. They rushed it. They claimed they had enough evidence to impeach. That's why they impeached in the house: because they said "here's all the evidence we need. We're ready for trial."

You guys really just need to accept this loss and move on. It is getting very sad in our eyes.

Republicans wanted the whistleblower to testify. Dems said no. What more is there to say?

Dictators very often have votes, just ones that don't mean anything. That's what we have here--exactly what most of us expected, a party-line vote to have a kangaroo court only.

Face it, the Dems would be in muhc better shape if they never got the Trump Derangement Syndrome and just accepted the loss like men and moved on. From the very second they lost, it was "conspiracy this!, conspiracy that!" They just can't accept the fact they lost fair and square to Trump.

This has to be the most pathetic argument so far. For the last fucking time, in order for Trump to be impeached the dems would have to agree that he won the election. They just don't believe that winning an election gives you four years of complete immunity. Most people agree with this. That you can't is obvious, unsurprising and typical all rolled into a sad package.

The fact that not a single Trump supporter has been able to provide a single consistent coherent argument pretty much shows how this will be viewed in years to come. I just hope Trumps' toadstool cock pressing the back of you throat was worth it all.

Please refrain from the homophobic slurs.

What's homophobic here?

And the only slur I see is to His Flatulence.

Vote suppression. The rate of people denied voting because of ID issues was enough to have flipped the election.

Encouraging/requesting theft of proprietary information? Making illegal contributions to his own campaign in non-disclosed hush money payments to a porn star, named co-conspirator ("INDIVIDUAL-1") in a felony conspiracy?

The guy cheats in golf, cheated in school, cheated in the draft, cheated in business, cheated on all three of his wives - who could ever suspect he might cheat in an election?

Detroit Voting Machine Failures Were Widespread on Election Day

More than 80 voting machines in Detroit malfunctioned on Election Day, officials say, resulting in ballot discrepancies in 59% of precincts that raise questions about the reliability of future election results in a city dominated by Democratic and minority voters.

Skeptical 70,000 black voters abstained from presidential vote

Thanks to Stein’s call for a recount in Michigan, it was revealed that over 70,000 ballots cast in Detroit, Michigan were not counted in the presidential contest.

One theme that was repeated by Trump lawyers was that you can't impeach a President over a disagreement over policy.

They have, with straight faces, made an argument that shaking down the Ukrainian President for dirt on Biden is American foreign policy.

More generally they've simply said that when you have the majority you can do what you want. Was Trumpo guilty? Absolutely. Does guilt mean anything if you make the rules? No. Being legal or illegal simply does not matter if you control the handles of power.

I wouldn't say more simply, they have made multiple arguments.

1) shaking down foreign leaders is 'foreign policy'
2) getting elected is in the 'better public interest' therefore any actions to get elected are in the 'better public interest'
3) Trump released a transcript which means there is no obstruction, regardless of all of the other obstruction, that stuff was normal
