I can be in Canada in a good bit under two hours. Spent a lot of childhood vacations in Canada and absolutely loved it.
Yeah, but such places are pretty hard to get into. Most places you can actually hope to live permanently aren't first world. Most first world countries, you should very definitely expect US-level care, or better, certainly for urgent care/ER visits.Medicare is useless overseas. You would have to make your own insurance arrangements. Do not expect US-level medical care!
Travel insurance normally only covers emergent situations, not chronic ones. Most such places have insurance automatically for taxpayers, so if you're allowed to work, you're probably covered - but the rules vary a lot from country to country.
If you're not covered in that way, insurance is typically FAR cheaper than it would be in the US. Typically healthcare is covered by travel insurance, (as long as you're not going to the USA).
“Project 2025” is nothing short of a 900-page blueprint for guiding Donald Trump’s second term of office if he’s re-elected.
After the Heritage Foundation unveiled Project 2025 in April last year, when Trump was seeking the Republican nomination, he had no problem with it.
But now that the nation is turning its attention to the general election, Trump doesn’t want Project 2025 to draw attention. Its extremism is likely to turn off independents and moderates.
So Trump is now claiming he has “no idea who is behind” Project 2025.
This is another in a long line of Trump lies.
The Project 2025 playbook was written by more than 20 officials whom Trump himself appointed during his first term. If he has “no idea” who they are, he’s showing an alarming cognitive decline.
I know nothing about Project 2025. I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they’re saying and some of the things they’re saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them.
I have heard of beer googles, are there cocaine googles?Holy Fuck!!!! Don Jr's fiance look like a ghoul from Supernatural.
Left to our own devices, the American people rejected European monarchy and colonialism just as we rejected slavery, second-class citizenship for women, mercantilism, socialism, Wilsonian globalism, Fascism, Communism, and (today)wokeism. To the Left, these assertions of patriotic self-assurance are just so many signs of our moral depravity and intellectual inferiority—proof that, in fact, we need a ruling elite making decisions for us.
But the next conservative President should be proud, not ashamed of Americans’ unique culture of social equality and ordered liberty. After all, the countries where Marxist elites have won political and economic power are all weaker, poorer, andless free for it.
The United States remains the most innovative and upwardly mobile society in the world. Government should stop trying to substitute its own preferences for those of the people. And the next conservative President should champion the dynamic genius of free enterprise against the grim miseries of elite-directed socialism.
The promise of socialism—Communism, Marxism, progressivism, Fascism, whatever name it chooses—is simple: Government control of the economy can ensure equal outcomes for all people. The problem is that it has never done so. There is no such thing as “the government.” There are just people who work for the government and wield its power and who—at almost every opportunity—wield it to serve themselves first and everyone else a distant second. This is not a failing of one nation or socialist party, but inherent in human nature.
Nighttime satellite images of the Korean peninsula famously show the free-market South lit up, with homes, businesses, and cities electrified from coast to coast.By contrast, Communist North Korea is almost completely dark, except for the small dot of the capital city, Pyongyang, where a psychotic dictator and his cronies

It will be The Greatest Shitshow on Earth, with 70+ million suckers born since PT Barnum, cheering it on."In Pillar IV—the Playbook—we are forming agency teams and drafting transition plans to move out upon the President’s utterance of “so help me God.”"
THEY MEAN IT literally.
The goal was and has never been never equal outcomes, but equal opportunities. And that's a bad thing??? We're supposed to believe you fucking WANT "equal outcomes for all people", and that unbridled capitalism will produce it??
Yeah, liberty and justice for all would be nice too.The goal was and has never been never equal outcomes, but equal opportunities.
An established cybercrime group with a track record of attacking political targets posted on Tuesday roughly two gigabytes of data from the Heritage Foundation, a prominent conservative think tank based in Washington, D.C.
Self-described “gay furry hackers,” SiegedSec said it released the data in response to Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025, a set of proposals that aim to give Donald Trump a set of ready-made policies to implement if he wins this fall’s election. Its authors describe it as an initiative “to lay the groundwork for a White House more friendly to the right.”
The data, reviewed by CyberScoop, includes Heritage Foundation blogs and material related to The Daily Signal, a right-wing media site affiliated with Heritage. The data was created between 2007 and November 2022.
