Actually we have discussed this and the arrest most likely wasn't illegal. The officers were entitled to chase, stop and search and the knife was most likely illegal - and even if it were legal you would have to prove the arresting officers knew that at the time of the arrest.I think it's cute the way he shows a picture of the victim in the hands of 3 white police officers, and then circles the faces of the three black officers. Two of whose contributions to the event did not involve touching the victim at all. Where the illegal arrest of this man was performed by the three white cops. But hey, who cares about accuracy, right?
Good because that would make the killing justifiable.Actually we have discussed this and the arrest most likely wasn't illegal. That would make the arresting officers innocent of any wrongdoing.Good because that would make the killing justifiable.

No racism in the OP. Nope.
And CVS is totally a Black owned business. Whitey cannot buy stocks in the company.
The only thing missing in that horrible graphic is Al Sharpton.

Lawsplain? Cute.It would? Please lawsplain.
Was Freddie Gray's knife legal?CNN said:In documents filed on behalf of Officers Garrett Miller and Edward Nero, attorneys argue that a "careful inspection of the knife recovered from Mr. Gray will reveal specific characteristics of the knife which will reveal that the knife was not lawful under Maryland law."
Miller and Nero have each been charged with two counts of second-degree assault, two counts of misconduct in office and one count of false imprisonment.
The charges stem from the fact that Mosby believes Gray's arrest was unlawful, based on the type of knife he had.
If the arrest was, in fact, lawful -- meaning that Gray's knife was illegal -- then Miller and Nero did not do anything wrong, according to documents filed by their attorneys.
Lawsplain? Cute.It would? Please lawsplain.
In case you haven't followed the case at all, the arresting (bike) officers were not part of the events after the arrest and as such they would only be culpable if there was criminal activity during the arrest itself. They cannot be held accountable for anything that may have happened after their involvement ended.
I see you have not paid attention at all to what I wrote, but are just following a script like a telemarketer or a Jehovah's Witness. But cops can still execute a suspect for a minor offense correct?
And you have the evidence for this?No racism in the OP. Nope.

Addressing an earlier lie, the death was not "a killing." It was accidental suicide.
Please post his doctor's statement or orders. Please list the name of his doctor and the date and time of his surgery. Please post the statement that was made by the prisoner in the other half of the van that was interviewed by the police although said person denies being interviewed, giving a contradictory story, and somehow said interview was never recorded or written down for some extremely strange reason. He banged his head against the wall of the truck, just
one week after neck surgery of a very serious nature. His doctor had ordered him to recover in bed.
I have no idea who this is or how it is relevent."I see racism in the sky, in the ground, in the speed of sound." - Julianne Malveaux, perhaps (I can't remember all of the race-baiters)
Not that it is any of your business, but I have chosen to remain a bachelor. Better dead than wed. Now what does this have to do with the price of tea in China?I have been called "racist" for decades now by the race-baiting, condescending left. My best rebuttal to the class warfare leftists is to tell them my best man was black.
What color was your best man, or maid of honor?
So what does that have to do with the other officers?I see you have not paid attention at all to what I wrote, but are just following a script like a telemarketer or a Jehovah's Witness. But cops can still execute a suspect for a minor offense correct?
Once again, slowly.
1. The two arresting officers were only involved with chase and arrest of the suspect. As such they were not charged with anything that may have happened in the van, including Grey's death. Their actual charges are still highly questionable as she has to prove that not only the knife found on Grey was legal but that the officers did not act in good faith when they arrested him.
But you said they are innocent of killing of Freddie BECAUSE the arrest may have been legal. That would imply police can "accidentally suicide" a person if they wish without consequences.2. The remaining four officers did not "execute" anybody. An execution implies intent and not even Mosby is alleging intent.
Nothing. I said that the arresting officers were not guilty of any wrongdoing if the arrest itself was legal (knife either illegal or legal but officers still acted in good faith) because their involvement ended at the arrest itself. And if two out of six suspects can be exonerated outright it would not do Mosby's reputation any favors and may damage the case against the others. That's why prosecutors should not rush into filing charges, not even to appease thugs and rioters. So what does that have to do with the other officers?
In my original response to Rhea I said "arresting officers". Please do read carefully before flying off the handle next time, ok.But you said they are innocent of killing of Freddie BECAUSE the arrest may have been legal. That would imply police can "accidentally suicide" a person if they wish without consequences.

Would love a source for this, all three points. He banged his head against the wall of the truck, just one week after neck surgery of a very serious nature. His doctor had ordered him to recover in bed.
