Republicans Seem To Have A Big Pedophile Problem

I wonder why this thread focuses solely on Republicans, and why stories like this one are ignored.

$1M bond set for legislator accused of sex crimes with 15-year-old

ABC News said:
A North Carolina state legislator accused this week of sex-related crimes involving a 15-year-old appeared in court remotely from a hospital bed while still in custody Friday, and a judge set his bond at just over $1 million.

Democratic state Rep. Cecil Brockman of High Point, who was arrested Wednesday, had his scheduled Thursday court appearance canceled, as a message in the state’s electronic court records system said he was in the hospital. No specific reason has been given for his hospitalization.

Perhaps because the offender in your story is in custody, as he should be, while the Republican paedophiles are still running around the Oval Office and the halls of Congress claming that they can't release the Epstein Files because mumble mumble good reasons trust us...

Well, now that you got off your lazy behind and contributed, that story is in the thread. Congratulations!

Now that you are here again, care to explain why Republicans are trying to prevent the prosecution of sex crimes, whereas Democrats see them as crimes and will immediately "turn on their own" rather than tolerate them, as happened in Brockman's case? The party has been unanimous in demanding his resignation since the allegations came to light, even without his being formally convicted for them.

from that article:
Brockman, who was first elected to the legislature in 2014, has been targeted politically by fellow Democrats in recent years for his willingness to vote with Republicans on some key bills. In July, he and a couple other House Democrats helped the GOP override successfully some of Democratic Gov. Josh Stein’s vetoes.

So basically he is slowly converting to a Republican at the same time as the allegations. It makes one wonder what that could mean. Seeking entitlement to a pardon for future sex crimes? Just coincidence?
