Russian Opposition Leader Gunned Down

First re: cross post. OK. Never mind.

OK I'll include there are photos and video showing Russian troops moving, Russian troops being interviewed, Russian material moving all into Ukraine in press, even Al Jazeera, across the world and still Russian isn't fessing up. Still hope we agree.
You do that, just make sure these are not from 2008 Georgia.

yeah. I read about the Inhofe dust up. A source I generally trust. Sifting Ukrainian Fact From Ukrainian Fiction

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...=I2vbVrUbCPtwIMKjXN8XGA&bvm=bv.87269000,d.bGQ

A bit further back in time from Al Jazeera's Rory Challands in Moscow
For weeks, journalists, analysts, even the OSCE, have been seeing large convoys of military hardware on the move in rebel-held territory. Troops, Kamaz trucks, T-72B tanks, GRAD rocket launchers, artillery pieces. This is clearly not material looted from the Ukrainian army, as much of it is brand new, and some of them are modifications only used by the Russian militar

Sure, go tell NATO/Pentagon/NSA/CIA that, they don't know that yet.
I am sorry, but after Odessa debacle I have zero trust in any western and especially arabic journalists/media.
And no, OSCE saw no such thing.

BTW: what is it that makes one a "Russophile"? Insecurity? What? Are you protecting family members from Putin's goons or something?
Well I said I might be considered a Russophile by some here. But the reality is that the term is simply your strawman/false dilemma. I can be critical of the western powers and their hidden aggressions and aware Russia is a corrupt mess and Putin is a strong man dictator.

That seems like an irrational extremist position. How do you justify it?

By the way, zero trust in the "western and especially arabic journalists/media" doesn't automatically make the Russian media trustworthy by default. It also doesn't make the "western and especially arabic journalists/media" wrong in everything they report. You just couldn't rely upon them (meaning you'd need to do your own independent investigation for everything).

You're the one who called yourself the "Russofile"! You are blaming me for the strawman that you created!

Wrong again, my first post in this thread I said I could be called that by the likes of you here. It doesn't mean I label myself that nor do I love Russia or Putin.

Which is it? A russophile likes Russia; A russofile simply has a lot of information about Russia... ;)

Svoboda lost 24 of its 30 parliamentary seats last November. Svoboda is no longer part of the government. Svoboda is now irrelevant.
But they were a part of the coup. And their recent past/present is neo-Nazi not distant like US Dems and slavery. Its the posters like Harry that outright deny this and use poor rhetorical tactics that I have the problem with.

Russian media is clearly biased, but they don't outright lie, like Western and especially Ukrainian. It looks likes western media and some governments choose to be with current Ukrainian government no matter what. They can throw any lie or bullshit and it will not be questioned

What do you mean by "they"? There are several different media outlets and thousands of individual journalists.

Also, can you provide a citation to the lie? Which article or news clip from a respectable western news outlet are you referring to, and can you provide strong evidence that it is in fact a lie? Meaning, please post your reliable sources and evidence that demonstrate, convincingly, that it is a lie.

"They" means all big outlets, TV and stuff.
Western media is supposed to be free and very critical of all governments. But it's none of that when it comes to current crisis. I am very disappointed in western media.

Well the second part of that sets you apart from the pack of Russophiles (or perhaps pair is a more accurate term) around these parts.

If we were to define Russophile as one who loves Russia, then this man who was murdered clearly qualifies. I was listening to lying Nazi Western media NPR this morning, and their guest was a former ambassador to Russia who described him as a passionate advocate for his country, dedicated to cleaning up corruption and challenging the status quo.

Yet to our stalwart Putin defenders here, his murder was merely an unfortunate incident and had nothing to do with him being in opposition to the Kremlin.

Can you post a link or links to the articles or news clips that best exemplify the lies you are referring to?

CBS once referred to Putin as a mortal man who couldn't even lift a single skyscraper with his penis. That's clearly not true.

I did many times.
Odessa coverage was outright lie. Then boeing shooting phone intercepts of rebels was outright lie. Then there is a lack of reaction on obvious bullshit from ukrainian government.
Yatsenyuk WW2 history talk in Germany did not get much except "Well, there is a freedom of speech".

You people need to understand, that ordinary russians take a notice every time western politicians/media behave like that. Yes it's true that US president and senators are not elected in Russia but it's a grave mistake to ignore public opinion of people in other countries including Russia.

It was two skyscrapers, and Western media lied about it!
