Anyway, the government shouldn't let anyone else in or out, nor should the government supply them with anything. Allow them one half acre on each side of the building, clear that area of any vegetation with bulldozers, and then just wait them out. If they start shooting, then bring the full capability of the military might of the federal government down upon them. It would take however long it would be to send several one thousand pound warheads to land on the building simultaneously for it to be over.

Obviously the easiest way is to shut off all the utilities, establish a perimeter and just wait it out. How much food and water could they have stockpiled in there anyway?

5. The FBI will later arrest a few ringleaders, but most will get off scot-free.
6. The entire country will apply palm to face.

But more likely, no perimeter will ever be set up, and these rednecks will stay for as long as they please. They may even do a rotating roster, where each wingnut goes only stays a few weeks at a time, like some sort of wacky holiday ranch.

I'm sure they brought dehydrated food and likely the buildings are fed from well water or the lake. This is the middle of nowhere so there is probably also backup generators to run the water pumps. I made the mistake of driving through this part of Oregon once. It's lonely.

It is like two states.West and east.Been to Burns once,on a ski trip to Idaho.Very cowboy country!Land is harsh the people are harsh.

That took a long time to happen and ironically the only thing standing in the way presently is the lack of federal action to finalize a fix and remove the dams. I don't see that happening again soon with the present occupation because the actors have a hatred of the feds.

Burns. I see an eventual workable and livable resolution with the Klamath thing. The Bundys out there could learn from what happened and is happening in Klamath but won't. I suppose that could change as there were certainly plenty of hardheads in Klamath.
