Terrorists take over federal Building, threaten violence

Privately owned park I think it was but in any case even if you occupy a public space you are denying other members of the public the right to use it.
while BLM "occupies" whatever space they are protesting, but long term as a central location like the bundy idiots or OWS they are not.
They had occupied the entrance to a police precinct for weeks (as part of the "4th precinct shutdown") and only a handful were arrested.
Not to mention the stark difference in firepower between these groups]
Well BLMers shot a few cops already and have issued vile and racist threats. So they are far ahead of Occupy Oregon.
For example, remember the "poor man's Chris Rock" Jeffrey Williams who shot (but luckily did not kill) two cops in Ferguson?
This guy's victim wasn't so lucky:
Suspect in Kentucky trooper’s shooting death was a ‘Black Lives Matter’ advocate in St. Louis, Facebook shows
And so on.
Unless you are a cop, why are you so afraid?

It included a cardboard box of apples and oranges, a few dozen pots of instant ramen, 24 cans of chicken noodle soup, a similar number of cans of sweetcorn, peas, beans and chili, and 20 boxes of macaroni and cheese.

There were also three sacks of potatoes, one bag of flour, another of rolled oats, boxes of raisins, a single bag of pretzels and one granola bar.
To be fair, Jesus could make that last two years.

Enough of the #BLM derail!

Well, they can always go on a hunger strike. Then the government will force them to eat.

Or maybe get another $530,000 government loan?

That's only, like 2 days for 18 people.

18 people with guns and only one granola bar? That shit is going to end badly.

The leaders of the ad hoc militia has sent out pleas for real patriots to send them clean socks, snacks, food and supplies. I doubt the feds will allow delivery.

So best I can do is a virtual care package.

1. 20 pounds of Mexican style dried, salted fish.
2. 4 packages of Japanese style dried seaweed.
3. 6 tins of anchovies.
4. 4 boxes of store brand dried milk

Let's be careful here - the Waco ordeal was responsible for an uptick in militia membership, and a factor in the McVeigh bombing.

I say the FBI's response has been accurate, in the chess sense, to let them starve and freeze of their own accord.

I agree. Although it's certainly a stark representation of the double standard, the Feds are certainly more savvy than your average city cop, so they likely aren't going reflexively resort to violence because they know that would make martyrs out of them.

I wish the police would stop shooting black people, but to each his own.
Just black people? And even if those black people are attacking them?

Derec,

Well, isn't that who you ALWAYS want to talk about? I mean, whenever a thread is started about some stupid shit white people do, aren't you the one who then populates that thread with pictures of black people being depicted as the only people who do stupid shit? I limited the comment to black people out of respect to you and your uncanny ability to turn every discussion involving white people acting badly to a tirade about black people you don't like. Evidently the discussion of white people makes you uncomfortable so I decided not to mention them, for your sake

;)

I was thinking of buying 20 pounds of ex-lax chocolate bars, mailing the chocolate to the bird sanctuary, and the wrappers to the FBI. I think they'd let that through....
