The Democrats are going to rig the next election the same way they cheated last time

I would argue that in a modern election, a mail in ballot is least likely to be fraudulent.

Consider the logistics. No one knows how many fraudulent votes would be needed to swing the results. You will always have to overshoot the goal. This means collecting the information on a thousand plus people who are registered to vote, but you are certain are not going to show up and vote in person. (We will note that in all the charges of vote fraud, no one has been found to have mailed in a ballot and tried to vote in person.) This is a chance you can't take, so the fraudulent ballots will have to be created after the polls close. This presents another problem. How do you get voter information the night of the election so you can compare to the voter rolls and cull out the names of people who didn't show up. Next they have to be post marked, or post post marked, as the case maybe. Most mail in ballots are received weeks before the election. A sudden surge of ballots postmarked a weeks ago, but simply showing up the day after would be an obvious anomaly. None of that has ever happened. The only organization with the resources to do this is the government that conducts the election. This requires the work of a lot of people, any one of whom could blow the whistle at any time. It's just not going to happen.

The problem of collecting the necessary information, the labor of marking the ballot, and the required forgery, all in the time span of about 24 hours simply can't be overcome without it being obvious.

On top of this, a mail in ballot is a piece of paper. While all the other votes are somewhere deep inside a RAM chip, the mail in ballot can be seen and held.

There are only two ways to interfere in an election which have a better than even way of swinging the results. The first is to alter the electronic results, after the vote is in. It's possible, but has its own set of problems.

The other way, and by far the most likely to succeed is to suppress the voters who you think oppose you. That's what all the bullshit about mail in ballots comes down to.

Where is the opportunity for voter fraud? Especially in numbers large enough to swing a national election.
Who knows? How did Epstein get away with what he did? I would not tell how voting fraud happens unless they get caught, which is very unlikely. And now days even when the criminal gets caught everything that happened gets redacted. After all we wouldn't want to offend any innocent electronic voting machine corporations that might be making campaign contributions. But knowing how corrupt both parties have become, a reasonable person should be extremely surprised if honest vote counting was taking place at all.

So our elections at least need to give the appearance of being fair and truthful. To that end, perhaps we might improve by at least a standardized and timely election process. States who refuse to get their act together on a timely federal election should be heavily penalized. Because when the officials start screwing around for days on end counting their votes, that's when my confidence drops to zero. It just gives criminals even more time to do bad deeds.

In my part of the world, not only do elections give the appearance of being fair and truthful, they are fair and truthful. Why should any part of the world increase its costs and work to change its operating procedures in order to satisfy people who suspect (with a jot of evidence) that the process is not fair nor truthful?

That's gotta be a record for a non sequitur.

You know, when you believe Trump's lies and then pass them on, he's making you look like a fool. Why do you allow him to do that to you?

1) Who said anything about increasing costs? Why would a standardized process need to be more expensive? Why would a timely process be more expensive when time is money and people are paid by the hour?

2) If elections are fair in your part of the world how come there are so many people not satisfied that they are fair? Jan 9 happened because people were happy? Is everyone else an idiot except for you?

Trump has nothing to do with how I feel about election integrity. Or the appearance of election integrity.

Transition from the current system that works (and was trusted until the biggest crybaby in the world lost ) will involve costs.

I didn’t call any idiot.

It seems to me that Trump and his followers think elections are unfair is when he loses. Trump rails that voting by mail promotes cheating but he votes by mail. What does that tell you?

There are so many people who disagree with you. Is everyone else an idiot but you?

Good question: How did Epstein get away with what he did? Why did voters vote for a convicted felon (x34 with more charges pending) with obvious dementia?

As someone who has worked at polls during election day, and who, in a different election/different state, took part in overseeing the manual recount of a closely contested election, I can tell you that our elections have been free and fair.

Trump continually crying about the results of the 2020 election tells me that he tried mighty hard to fix the election in his favor and he still doesn't understand how it didn't work. Also makes me think that he's tried to fix election results in other elections for POTUS.

That is the least credible thing you have ever said. You didn't mention election integrity in this forum at all until your Dear Leader was butt-hurt about losing in 2020.

Trump literally has EVERYTHING to do with how you feel about election integrity.

As has already been pointed out to you, the "appearance" of elections being unfair and fraudulent is almost completely manufactured. Voter fraud is exceedingly rare in this country, despite what Fragilego Mussolini claims. Consider this: In the wake of the 2016 election (which he also claimed was "rigged"), a blue ribbon panel was appointed by the then-new President to "find all the fraud" that caused him to lose the popular vote. He claimed that millions of "illegals" voted, and that busloads of ineligible voters were shipped to various states (apparently all funded by George Soros?) to "vote illegally."

The investigation was launched with much fanfare in early 2017, and then quietly disbanded less than a year later after finding...wait for it...

Not a goddamned thing.

In the wake of the 2020 election, Fuckface Von Clownstick screamed "fraud," attempted to stay in office, and then began a campaign of lies (supported by his party) about how it was all "rigged" against him. Here in Arizona, Biden won by a narrow margin. There was an official recount. Then an official audit. Every county went over their process with a fine-toothed comb. The state (Republican led) Senate even hired a pro-Trump company founded by an election denier that was built on the premise that the election was "stolen." They did a hand recount and audit of every single vote. The result?

According to their audit, Biden actually GAINED a couple hundred more votes over Trump. The Maricopa County Recorder who was elected that year also did his own audit of our largest county's voting process. He was a Republican who actually campaigned on behalf of Trump, and once in office dove into the process and the data. Guess what he found? Nothing!. No fraud, no mass numbers of "illegals" voting, and that the system - which has remained largely unchanged for decades - was actually very secure.

But that probably doesn't matter to you, because you've already decided - evidence be damned - that the whole system is broken and "rigged" (but only when the Democrats win). You've gotten it into your head that it can't be trusted, and no amount of reasoning will be able to change your mind because you didn't use reason to come to that conclusion.

@RVonse Watch William Barr's testimony on this subject. It's cued up to the meaty part.
RVonse posts videos. Watching them however...different story.

Every time I see someone raise this bullshit, I've found an easy way to shut them up. I say, "Congratulations, you just won yourself a million dollars".

Usually, I get a confused "What the fuck are you talking about, libtard?" and I point out how the Deputy Governor of Texas offered a million dollars to anyone who can show proof of voter fraud.

And then I drop this little nugget - Dan Patrick has already paid out for proof of election fraud.

But instead of going to an informant who smoked out fraud by Democrats, Patrick's five-figure payout went to a progressive poll worker in Pennsylvania whose tip led to a single conviction of illegal voting by a registered Republican.

At this point if I'm posting on a conservative forum, I typically get banned. Stupid libtards and their facts.

I've been concerned about election integrity ever since I voted for Al Gore losing to Bush because of chad ballots. There are many who still claim Al Gore probably won that election but due to the situation never took office. Perhaps I have not mentioned this for your pleasure but that election has always bothered me. And there are other weird things part of history such as Joe Kennedy buying votes during that election (which was before I could vote).

So yes I do believe people (including election officials) can do bad things if they can get away with it, having absolutely nothing to do with Trump. In fact at this point I probably don't like Trump as much as you do. He has betrayed MAGA and I am highly critical of his recent conduct with Epstein and the bombing of Iran.

I thought rich and powerful guys paying for sex with young girls was rare until I saw even a fraction of what has now been exposed. Sure they have a lot of sex but why would they pay for it? Who would have thought that rich powerful men would have so much trouble getting layed that they would even have to pay for it?

The Epstein debacle shows us just how much fraud and deceit there is out there that we have no idea about.

Ypu have been a member since 2005.

You have been only pushing this lie since your dear leader got butt hurt in 2020.

I thought long and hard how to respond to this, Trumpsucker. I'm fine with knowing why I think you are full of shit. Rest of the the world is laughing at "people:" like you.

Good luck on all those massive farms you rent out like a working man (bullshit)

The GOP doesn't like mail-in ballots because it increases higher turnout overall. And as others have said, no one ever seriously considered our elections to be fraudulent until the orange shitpants came along.

My dad was a big Trump supporter. We argued about that idiot endlessly until we ended up not speaking for a year. One of the main things that caused the rift was Trump/GOP asinine claim that millions of illegals were voting. The size of the conspiracy and participation by illegal aliens was/is so far fucking out that it's difficult to comprehend how anyone, let alone tens of millions of people believe it.

Anyway, Trump has persistently advocated for putting Republicans in charge of counting votes in order to ensure a "fair outcome," the "fair outcome" being that he wins.

As I've said before many times, I will never not be shocked that Trump or anyone 10% as horrible as he is ascended to the White House.

Actually Gore did win. A news media consortium conducted a recount of Florida ballots and Gore came out on top.
