The Purge

When Leon cuts Social Security and Medicare, I hope that good patriotic Republican seniors who voted for Trump are the first in line to give back those "entitlements". I had always thought nobody would be stupid enough to try that, but that was before we had an unelected foreign drug addict on the autism spectrum running the show.

I don't think it'll happen they way you imagine. I think they will cut SS entitlements to people who are of working age, but mentally ill or otherwise have problems or maybe some natural born citizens who were born to foreigners or some other target group that they can lay blame on for all the expense. Of course, they'll cut more than that, but say it's the latest incarnation of Welfare Queens, ie. make up a story of wretched people they are targeting. Then, they'll cut into Medicaid (probably not Medicare) for the same alleged reasons. They will also invest the money in newer trendy things like crypto or whatever benefits the Broligarchy and claim the old system was outdated, bloated, and wasting American tax dollars. They may also INCREASE in a small way payments to whomever is left as SS recipients. This way they can continue to be popular among right-wingers, lay claim to a meritocracy, and being "efficient," but while more marginalized people will suffer. Even if it is financially unstable or making less, they will turn the propaganda machine up to say it's better. Any losses they can just take from other programs they are eliminating to make it look like a success to people who do not know better.

This is hardly a surprise though. Unless you plan to allow a free and fair election some day, there’s not much point in having an election commission. Trim the fat.

On whose orders did security personnel prevent Congress members from entering government buildings?

Obviously we have lost the support of the people who would be the ones to physically throw out anyone who resisted.

According to tonight's Rachel Maddow show, there are many that are doing just that.

The scary thing is that OAN is considered a "trusted source" and not 'fake news'. 12 hours after the crash, Trump declared it was due to DEI. Shortly after that right wing conspiracy theorists declared that the chopper pilot was transgender and that it may have been a deliberate act, and there were several comments in the article referring to this, but the anchor of this "news" story was actively urging an aviation expert to share any conspiracy theories he has heard. To his credit, he didn't (likely won't asked back). But "reporting" conspiracy theories has a way of bringing them to life. The fakest "fake news" anywhere, yet it is a trusted source to Trump supporters.

And people would tell me not to be concerned about WW3 happening when the most powerful military is being run by lunatics and the military is now getting their information from insane, jingoistic liars who readily deny reality. I am not saying it's "absolutely" going to happen. But it would be insane not to be concerned.

He told me it was because of DEi hiring, specifically mentally handicapped people, at the ATC. Trump wouldn’t lie about something so serious, now would he??? And if it were so dangerous surely he would do something to prevent more accidents, right???
