His Flatulence's travel bans were closing the barn doors when the horses were long gone. They came way too late to do any good. The only countries that should have travel bans are places that are serious about stamping it out--and that's not the US. Even then a 14 day quarantine is better than an outright ban, but I can understand bans while they're getting the quarantine system set up. (Or what China has done--suspended all existing visas but they are permitting some new ones--keeping down the number of people they have to quarantine.)
