Trump's Appointments

It does us no good to circulate falsified stories as though they were fact.
Right. Its actually harmful to your cause/side. People will find out its false and after a few more times of catching you in a lie, they'll be highly distrustful of anything and everything you put out...even the true stuff. Think about the old fable of The Boy Who Cried Wolf.
Hasn’t hurt Trump of Fox News one bit up to this point.
This "success" of theirs has nearly destroyed our entire drmocratic process. No one benefits from that, in the long term. They will go down with the ship also, in the end.

There is also the effect that if you say it long enough and loud enough (and get a media outlet to repete it) uninformed or indoctranated sheeple will believe anything.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth reportedly attended a service at Christ Church Washington D.C., a church affiliated with self-identified Christian nationalist Doug Wilson, an influential right-wing leader who seeks to turn the U.S. and other nations into Christian-led theocracies.

Hegseth and his family were in attendance at the church’s inaugural service in Washington in July, CNN reports.

“The Secretary is a proud member of a church affiliated with the Congregation of Reformed Evangelical Churches, which was founded by Pastor Doug Wilson,” Chief Pentagon Spokesman Sean Parnell said in a statement to The Independent. “The Secretary very much appreciates many of Mr. Wilson’s writings and teachings.”
The reported attendance is not the first time Hegseth has been linked to Wilson and his movement, which has occupied positions including that the U.S. should repeal the 19th Amendment, which grants women the right to vote, that the Supreme Court should strike down gay marriage, that slavery produced “genuine affection between the races,” and that women should submit to their husbands.
The pastor has also stated the US Constitution should be scrapped and replaced with an evangelical Christian based document.

Evil scumbag nominate evil scumbags. I only wish Congress would stop rubber stamping the terrible nominations. But over half of Congress are still seditionists.

Most of you remember the famous scene in Chinatown where Pete Hegseth, played by Faye Dunaway, says

Watch this 2-minute video to see Elissa Slotkin reduce this smirking moron to a blithering pile of shit.
In a just world she'd be slapping this contemptible excuse for a life-form and producing the monologue shown above.

Speaking of Hegseth, He is going after Black service members now via shaving waivers. Many Black service members have waivers for Pseudofolliculitis barbae (PFB)
Sure there's been some religious exemption for Sikh and Heathens and an attempt by a Pastafarian but make no mistake, this hits the Black community in the military.
Troops with medical shaving waivers to face separation, Hegseth says

Priceless. What an incompetent shitweasel.

U.S. Ambassador to Canada Pete Hoekstra said Thursday in Halifax he is disappointed that he's found so few Canadians are willing to speak positively about the United States.

Well what a shock. The idiot needs to look at his boss to see what's going on. Trump starts a trade war with Canada, one of the US's closest allies and largest trading partners. Trump says Canada isn't a real country. He's going to use economic war to force Canada to become a "51st state" and this Hoekstra thinks that Canadians should be happy with the US about this?

What a jerk.

This Hoekstra guy got himself into hot water when he was ambassador to Netherlands.

Interference in Dutch politics

In September 2020, a group of Dutch officials demanded answers from Hoekstra in response to reports that he had hosted a fund-raising event at the U.S. embassy for the far right Dutch political party Forum for Democracy, a potential violation of international law.[90] This is not the first time Hoekstra has been associated with the far-right party. In May 2020, Hoekstra was interviewed by party leader Thierry Baudet on the party's video channel and he was also a guest speaker at the party's conference in November 2019.[91]

Trump nominates such terrible people to high places. He's despicable.

Oh but Trump doesn't know anything about Project 2025! 🤣🤣🤣

We fucking warned you, idiots.

"The Left just calls everything it doesn't like racist!"

From: Wounded Knee Massacre ‘Tarnishes’ Integrity of Medal of Honor
By Gabriel Pietrorazio

“The ‘Battle at Wounded Knee’ on December 29, 1890 was no battle,” Semans wrote to Trump. “It was a massacre. … The 7th Cavalry, which was obligated by treaty to protect my ancestors, instead hunted my ancestors, surrounded them, and gunned hundreds of them down. This included terrified women and children who fled—defenseless—through the snow, forever stained by their blood.”

Medals of Honor were given for killing Lakota women and children. Calling upon Trump to “right a much graver wrong” was the first step in correcting his harmful and hurtful rhetoric, Semans says. But his letter went unanswered."

They may yet succeed in making the Medal of Honor a mark of shame rather than accomplishment, if they insist on awarding it to acts of wanton cruelty that violated orders and accomplished no military objective. What kind of a man is proud of that? What kind of a military is proud of that?

Right-wingers get so mad when I point out that the wars they denand will mean raping women and shooting babies' brains out. They say I'm making things up, that civilian deaths are always accidents, that our government would never endorse a war crime. But then they insist that those who do things like that, even against orders, are the very best of us and should receive this nation's highest honors? Something doesn't add up.
