Twitter is dumb, because it isn't a discussion place, it is a pronouncement/announcement place that is trying to sell itself as a discussion place. But when it comes to looking for pronouncements/announcements, it is a good service.

AOC is limited in certain capabilities... but social media outreach and communication isn't one of those areas, and trying to one up here or pick a fight with her on her territory is a dumb idea.

Twitter is dumb, because it isn't a discussion place, it is a pronouncement/announcement place that is trying to sell itself as a discussion place. But when it comes to looking for pronouncements/announcements, it is a good service.

The issue being, a platform for announcements that only allows what are essentially declaratory responses creates a breeding ground for nastiness, especially seeing as responses that link to real data, which would only exist off-site, get filtered.
