Van of peace in Berlin, Germany

People like the Berlin Peace rammer, the Bondi Beach killers, the Nice truck rammer, Golders Green stabbings in the UK, synagoge attack in Manchester, the Charlie Hebo attack in Paris, Muslim grooming gangs in the UK etc. are the best recruiters for anti-muslim sentiment there is.
It is a vicious circle of violence that we cannot seem to get out of.
If you believe in collective blood guilt assigned to an entire people based on the violent actions of a few, what race or nation on earth is free of your barbaric judgements?
All of us have a If everyone followed your logic, the only people left alive would be a few scattered Tibetan monks. You, certainly, will be among the first to the block. Your white Christian predecessors used to hunt the indigenous peoples of your continent for sport.

Have never denied that the Aborigines were treated terriblyand cruelly in the past. That is to our ever lasting shame.
The best I can do it ensure it does not happen again to them or anyone else.

An admirable sentiment, but if you're portraying immigrants from the "wrong countries" as inherently dangerous, you're not on the right track to that goal. Xenophobia is a cancer, that consume worldviews from within, that blinds the bearer from understanding the consequences of their actions, and the consequences of the actions they choose not to see being done in their name.

If a person has not committed a terrorist act, they are not a terrorist.

Until they do commit a terrorist act by driving vans into crowds or going on stabbing sprees or blowing themselves up at a concert venue or on public transport.

In the UK, almost all people on the terror watchlist or in prison for conspiracy for terrorism are followers of teh islam.

Why do you think you keep reading about Europe being overrun with migrants and they are trying to take over? Is it possible that is what is actually occurring?
Strange. I don't keep reading that. I suggest you increase the variety on your reading list.

Maybe because the number of senseless, violent, crimes committed by ideologues here in the US dwarfs most of the world?
Tom

It helps when you get the government to do the violence on your behalf.

Glad to hear things have finally calmed down in old Ireland.

I should think you'd be angry they aren't monitoring Earth First and the like. Are you conceding that eco-terrorists no longer pose a meaningful threat to society?

A few decades ago in the UK, almost all people on the terror watchlist or in prison for conspiracy for terrorism were from that notorious Islamic organisation known as the "Provisional IRA".

The Irish Catholics were apparently an existential threat to the UK, breeding like rabbits and destined to simply replace us and take over our country with their foreign religion and their incompatible culture.

Irishmen were freely allowed to migrate across the border in their hordes. You couldn't even walk down the street in many towns without hearing Irish accents, the pubs all started selling Guinness, and every vegetable market and greengrocer's was full of potatoes.

Even the BBC was making television shows full of people dancing to diddly-diddly music while not moving their arms. Clearly British civilisation was on the verge of collapse.

If you were amongst that pathetic minority back then who were genuinely terrified by the Irish threat to the UK, you should be deeply embarrassed today.

How you will likely feel about your abject fear of "teh islam" in a few decades I will leave as an excercise for the reader, but suffice to say you don't need long shoes, a red nose, or a tiny car full of dozens of your friends, in order to impress us further with your erudition.

Since I have never portrayed that I will ignore that accusation.

If a person has not committed a terrorist act, they are not a terrorist.
And yet we charge people with preparing for acts they have not yet committed.
A terrorist thinks a certain way. The thought may not have expressed itself as an action yet but they are already a terrorist.

Really? They were frightened that the IRA would win, and take over the UK?

I seriously doubt it.

That's true, and is in itself a sufficient reason to reject fear as a useful policy.

Those who are promoting fear are doing so to advance their own power, because they have nothing else to offer the electorate, and because fear works (just ask the Germans, who were terrified of communists and Jews in the 1930s).

You may not have been affected The Troubles but sucks to be someone who was eh?

You have no idea; And your continuing effort to equivocate between being a victim of terrorism and capitulating to the terrorist demand that we fear them is disgusting.

I shall attempt to be charitable and assume that you are just too stupid to notice the difference, because the alternative is to think that you are being deliberately manipulative of the friends and families of the victims, in order to support fascism.

I support the families, friends of those killed, hurt. I do not call them a pathetic minority.
Any fears they had were fully justified.

Most were unafraid. And proud of it. And rightly so.

And the fears of the population at large?

Should we have called for Catholic Churches to be closed, for anyone who came from Ireland, or whose family came from Ireland, to be deported? After all, every Irishman is a terrorist, in exactly the same way* that every Muslim is a terrorist.

Your effort to paint me as a horrible and callous person who hates the victims of terrorism is a distraction from the point - which is that treating an entire population as scary terrorists who deserve our fear and anger is absurd. Terrorists were a tiny fraction of Irish people. And are a tiny fraction of Muslim people, too.

Fuckwits like Tommy "not a middle class tit at all, look I have a working class name" Robinson want to promote that absurdity, not because Islam is a threat to the UK, but because Tommy "be scared enough to vote against your best interests" Robinson wants his brand of xenophobia to become mainstream - just as Joseph Goebbels did before him.

* Not at all

Yet I remember those killed by the IRA.
You mean killed by the whites, right? Or is it killed by the Irish? Or is it killed by the Catholics? Whichever way, why are you trying to change the subject and talk about a specific political organization, when what you are trying to justify is class bigotry against all members of the world's second largest religion, and in immigration policy implication, anyone connected to them by race or nationality? That's apples to oranges. No one here is saying it is wrong to despise Al Qaeda or Boko Haram, actual terrorist organizations who have done horrific things. What we do reject is the kind of ignorance and paranoia that leads someone like yourself to make no distinction between terrorist or victim, authoritarian state or refugee. When you talk about "them" and how "they" are "invading" Europe, you aren't talking about a specific organization or organizations.

Yes they will killed by whites (why does the skin colour matter?) They were still killed.
Or is it killed by the Irish?
Most of the bombers appeared to be Irish. there were some English sympathisers.
Or is it killed by the Catholics?
Many of the bombers, certainly not all, would have claimed to be Catholic. Ad the UDF had their killers too. Just as much of bastards as the IRA.
Whichever way, why are you trying to change the subject and talk about a specific political organization,
Bilby introduced the IRA, not me. Looks like in post 50.

Can we despise the IRA, UDF now too?

I cannot find the post(s) where I accused "them" of invading Europe. Perhaps you could find it for me?

Go back and look at the first couple of posts. This thread is an effort to make groups responsible for the behavior of individuals from those groups. They were trying to smear Muslims and immigrants.

Ironic, since they are both white immigrants. Look at the last 500 years or so of the history of white immigrants around the globe. From Africa to Australia to the Americas, EuroChristians have been the most disastrous immigrants by a huge margin.
I cannot find the post(s) where I accused "them" of invading Europe. Perhaps you could find it for me?
I'm pretty sure he is referring to the plural "you".
