Well... it's Trump... again. #47, here we go.

If the Epstein files are indeed ever published, I'll wager as many people will read them as read The Mueller Report and Project 2025.

Who else believes that the most likely reason why Trump and his stooges are all "Nothing to see here" about the Epstein stuff is that Trump is all over it. I would not be surprised if there is a "client list" and Trump is on it.
I think that if there was it would have leaked by now.

If there's anything (and he certainly should have kept compromising material!) it's encrypted with a lost password.
The word "list" is a vague term. I'm sure there is no document created by Epstein that is a definitive list of all the men who visited his various homes and were given massages by underage girls. Why would there be?

What does exist is a list of all those men and it's been assembled by the people who sifted through the thousands(millions?) of documents taken as evidence in the investigation. So, the list is real, even if it's actually dozens of incomplete lists. The names are in the evidence, taken from flight manifests, credit card bills, witness statements, and many more places where names appear.

We know Trump is on the list, simply because he spent so much time in Epstein's company. There's probably dozens of men who had business with, or socialized with Epstein, who never got a massage, and they are on the list. The list, whoever is on it, is a diversion. What matters is the witness statements, the hundreds of hours of interviews and the sordid details of who got a massage.

We all know that nothing Trump says can be taken as truth. He is a fool who lies, when telling the truth would be a better course. Trump's actions are another matter. He is acting as if he knows there is extremely damaging information in the witness statements, and even worse, he is acting scared.

This raises the obvious question, what could possibly scare Trump at this point in time? He's been found guilty of sexual assault and still got elected. There are no more elections in his future, so that's no longer a factor. If Trump violated the age of consent laws of some state, the idea he might be prosecuted is simply not realistic. What Trump fears more than anything is embarrassment. What's hidden in the files might not be prison worthy, but something worse in Trump's mind.

My hypothesis goes back to Trump's reaction to the Steele Dossier and the story about Russian prostitutes peeing while he watched. His reaction was a little out of proportion. The psychology of shame is a complicated thing. I've known men who patronized prostitutes for services they were too ashamed to share with their partner. When Charley Sheen was asked about prostitutes, he said, "I'm not paying her for sex. I'm paying her to go away afterward." A prostitute and whatever she is paid to do, can be insulated from the rest of a man's life. He can do the embarrassing thing, or have it done to him, but not have to worry about it at breakfast, or in the boardroom.

I think somewhere in the files, there is a young woman who told about the night she peed while some rich guy from New York watched in delight. It's easy enough to brush off one "someone said something" story as fiction, but when two unrelated people tell the same story, it starts to ring true.

I have no idea why the previous post got all fucked up and wouldn't let me delete the X, so I'm rewriting the post. Weird things have been happening lately.

Anyway, the point is that Trump forgot that he appointed Powell as chairman of the fed. It wouldn't take my link but it's all over the news.
I didn't actually try to delete it but I see why it has a problem: You tried to link an .svg image. That's a format that must be disallowed as it can contain executable content.

It's true that Trump lies a lot, almost every time his lips are moving, but I think that he really forgot he appointed Powell and I think he probably believes the stupid story about the Unabomber, as there has been plenty of examples recently that his cognition is getting worse. it's hard to tell his lies from his memory lapses these days. And, it's sad that we have such a mentally deranged president who is also in at least stage one or two of dementia.
I think his fans have certainly forgotten and most have zero idea what that position entails anyways.

Most of what's left of his cult either don't watch or read any news or they get their so called news from right wing sources. I'm shocked that at least as recently as yesterday, that MTG is still criticizing Trump. She is the last person who I thought would still be angry at him over the Epstein files.

He can only be fired for violation of law so they will now try to dig something up on him.

The Unabomber story is a lie from start to finish -- it has no particle of truth to it. Kaczynski was never at MIT, and Trump's uncle died before anyone knew Kaczynski = Unabomber. So there's no part-truth or half-truth here, and no indication that Trump is remembering some detail from the past. It's just 100% lie, with the only gain, I guess, being that Trump gets to play raconteur. And he couldn't care less; he's in his tale-spinning mode and he knows his base will never care about it.
The more interesting take: just imagine what the MAGA press would have done about Biden, had he said something like this. They couldn't repeat enough that Biden couldn't give the date of Beau Biden's death. If Biden had recited an imaginary tale about one of his relatives, we'd be hearing that he was too dangerous to leave alone with the nuclear codes.
Expect lots more of these Trump brain blips, and expect zero followup or talk about the 25th Amendment.

Oh no! Obama was sedacious!

Obama should sue him for a million trillion dollars.

Yes, I was thinking that Trump could still be sued for slander and libel. $100 billion would probably do it.

Once again, every accusation from Trump is an admission. It's he and his cult goons who tried to overthrow the election but it's so Trumpy to accuse someone else.

I agree and know all of that, but my point was that people who have brain disorders, including dementia are often delusional. I've compared Trump to a former patient of mine in previous posts, who insisted she was a queen and got angry if we didn't address her as Queen. She had serious mental illnesses, but she also started to have symptoms of dementia, which was when she started claiming to be a queen, sort of like Trump acting like he's a king. So of course, the entire story is made up, but imo, it's more of a delusion than a lie.

Yes, Trump is a pathological liar, but he also has many symptoms of dementia, including forgetting things and having delusions, and sometimes becoming agitated. It's obvious that his cognitive state is far worse during his second term compared to his first term, when he only exhibited symptoms of malignant narcissism and sociopathy. He is very dangerous for many reasons, but some powerful people either fall to see it, don't want to see it or don't want to admit that the man needs to be removed from office ASAP.

I agree that no former president would have gotten away with his behavior or obvious signs of dementia.

So Trump went to the Federal Reserve to intimidate Fed Chair Jerome Powell. On camera with Powell at his side, Trump started talking about cost overruns on the building renovations saying costs have increased to more than three billion. Powell said no, it hasn't increased and it is still the original cost estimate. Powell looked at the piece of paper trump was using for his statement. Powell said yes, that's the Fed estimate but the amount you are using includes the cost of a building that was completed five years ago.

My first thought was that Trump was lying to try to trick Powell and to bully him. He forgot that Powell is probably 10x smarter than he is. Glad Powell isn't aftaid to call Trump on it.
