What music are you listening to right now? (Warning: Lotsa videos)

Almost feeling nostalgic.

Listening to my collection of Billboard hits from the 50s, and I'm reminded of just why Elvis was so successful.

The sound of his records was so much better than almost everything that was out back then.

Sure, there were great songs from other great artists, but Elvis' records just sounded so crisp and clean. His band was tight. The recordings were well done. The production values were head over heels above the competition.

Edited to add:

Except possibly Bill Haley. Rock Around the Clock was fierce.

Gasp! That rock band is making fun of a powerful politician! That's so terrible! Obviously, that rock band hates our freedom! Somebody should do something so that people like that rock band cannot attack our freedoms that way! [/conservolibertarian]

But hey, as long as we're posting anti-Bush videos, here's another:

My deepest apologies to any right wing snowflakes who were triggered by someone publicly criticizing a powerful politician. I understand that this hurts your feelings, but I don't care because I hate America.

just found this, some aspects are a bit repetitive but if you are in the mood for the sonic quality and timbre this is top notch:

I found all of my music usin You Tube in 2016. Whole lot of sludge to dig trough. I think the most original artist had to be Nick Jaar. He's a total murderer. I'd love to see him perform.
My You Tube finds for 2016 go like this:
Microwave (8/10)
Space Wizard (6/10)
Agalloch (6/10)
Idles (5/10)
Surgical Meth Machine (5/10)
Jeff Rosenstock (8/10)
Nails (7/10)
Cabbage (6/10)
The wolf and I (7/10)
Vektor (8/10)

Beautiful woman there, Thomas. She drove her car into a ditch and died because her guitar stopped working? From what I can make out, she is glad it happened in June?

Smoker this sounds like old Clutch. You mentioned you like Clutch once. A little more on the psychedelic side with some Sleep elements but very Clutch for sure

A little tribute to one of the great bands to come out of the '70's. And specifically to the band's original drummer, Sib, who collapsed and died a couple of weeks ago in the middle of playing the drums while performing on a rock n roll cruise. Also, to the late Bradley Delp, who shares my birthday. He committed suicide about ten years ago...poor chap. :(
