What music are you listening to right now? (Warning: Lotsa videos)

It is getting to be close to closing time, folks. Last call for alcohol. You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here, so here's a song to get you on your way out the door.

Don't forget to tip your waitresses and bartenders. And if you've got a dollar left over, the DJ accepts tips as well. Don't drink and drive, and we'll see you next Thursday.

I'm not the least bit ashamed to say that I love this song:

[::] has a rough sound I'm digging a lot Smoker. Reminds me of Metz, old Shellac and a lot of bigger Polish, Post Rock bands that rock half as hard as this. Digging the copper/sludge sound very much with this band, which peaks at about 20:00 mark.

Another Polish Gem is "Theme from Dimension Traveller" by Ampacity.

Some background on this one.

Steve Earle is an odd duck who kind of skirted the region between rock and country without ever quite doing anything that can be called Southern rock. He's a self-described "commie redneck" who's been around since long before Trae Crowder. If you were around during the 1980s, you might remember his one big hit Copperhead Road.

Anyway, this song was meant to be a call to action to liberals during the Bush II admiration, but it seems very relevant all over again.

OneRepublic, doesn't matter which song. Kina melancholic, which is cuz it's been that side of life for a while.

Ed Sheeran Shape of You at the Grammy's:
