Babylon 5 (remastered) - With Babylon 5 remastered, I needed to watch it through again. Right now about mid-way Season 4. This show was so expertly crafted and told so well. They plant the no telepaths on Narn thing so early, let it grow, and then before you know it, a minor unnecessary detail becomes a significant plot point. And the show answers questions that aren't specifically raised. This is what happens when a concept has been clearly established before it goes into production.
The remastering is very good. Luckily, while the show was on a diet for budget, the set design nor makeup weren't betrayed by a higher definition. The computer graphics are sharper (in computer graphic scenes only). WB apparently didn't bother remastering the shots with special effects and live action. This is both good and bad. The good is it helps people remember what B5 looked like in entirety before this remaster, and the bad... it looks sloppy. Remastering can cost a lot, I get it. Star Trek didn't manage well with it, hence no remaster of the remaining shows. But when things look better, it does look bad when all of a sudden you've go SD blur all of sudden, back to perfect focus, back to SD blur.
