Ballard, 5/10; A bit of a Harry Bosch spin off, stars Maggie Q as detective Ballard heading up the LAPD cold case unit. 10 fucking episodes of meandering, pedestrian paced, mediocre, woke nonsense. Plots and sub plots abound in this utterly disjointed story involving the death of a LA councilman's sister. It would probably have been okay if was six episodes but TEN?!! Maggie Q is fine. The rest of the cast were journeymen slop with a few cameo appearances from Titus Welliver as Harry Bosch. Streaming on Amazon Prime. Another reason to cancel this subscription.

We watched about 4 episodes of "Happyish" yesterday. It's too bad there was only one season as imo, it's one of the best comedies ever. I have the DVD but it's streaming right now, but I don't remember where, maybe HBO. It makes a lot of fun about god and religion. We've watched it a few times in the past, but since it's been a few years since our last watch, it was almost like watching for the first time.
