I googled the woman and that's the only thing that came up outside of this story. I thought it was odd that a woman who is now a certified internet villain was also promoting education and peace in Rwanda.

And the same guys pressuring African countries to execute gay people also donate money to build schools and such in similar countries. Being a bigoted piece of shit doesn't mean a person can't also do some good in the world.

Similarly, just because someone is doing something they think will improve the lives of someone in a third world situation, it doesn't mean that their ideology won't get in the way with actual success of that stated goal: churches provide food aid all the time and gatekeeper that aid with religious participation, and increased religiousity is associated with continued economic hardship.

Without knowing exactly HOW this woman, if she is the same woman, is accomplishing her apparent goal of improving education in Rwanda, we still cannot say whether that means she can't be a racist cunt.

She isn't the same woman. One works/lives in Africa (located thousands of miles off of the coast) and gave a presentation at the Berkley Center at Georgetown University (located on east coast), the other lives in Berkley, CA (located on the west coast).

Properly determining dismal's motives easily begins to sway into the "against the rules" at this forum, so we can only be left to imagine individually why dismal bothered to post in this thread at all.

Moreover, if someone is going to make a claim of fact that person has the duty to take the time to get it right. I took a little extra time to confirm that Georgetown University didn't have a satellite Center that was incorporated with UCLA.

What I learned here though is that dismal apparently has his forum set to 10 posts a page. Yipes! That really explains a few things.
