Yes. Trump really does have a special charisma! He has a sense of humor, perverse but almost funny. He tells lies and his followers love it, even knowing them to be lies. Oafs like Vance and DeSantis, OTOH, speak with bitterness -- never even a smile -- and pretend their lies are truths.

It seems like a mystery! Who could possibly succeed Trump as the mascot of Trumpism? Nobody comes to mind; but is that just because I'm unfamilar with the personalities? Is Tucker Carlson an option? He has the oafishness, the bitterness, and is willing to tell obvious lies, but has only a tiny fraction of the Monster's unique "charisma."
