So, to put the thing in focus:
1- It's not a war, it's an excursion.
2- We've won.
3- We've accomplished all our basic objectives.
4- We destroyed their nuclear capabilities last year, and we kept them from launching an imminent nuclear attack on us last month, and we may want to go in with ground forces to take out their nuclear capabilities.
5- We're within days or weeks of being done, and being done means a feeling in the Presidential skeleton.
6- We killed off level after level of their leadership, and we are in serious talks with their leadership.
7- Their navy is gone, their air force is nearly gone, and they have no anti-aircraft equipment. We will continue to hit them, hard.
8- We want their good citizens to seize control of the government, and we are going to bomb all of them back to the Stone Age, where they belong.
9- A former President told Trump, quote, "I wish I had done it," although the quote does not come from Clinton, Bush II, Obama, or Biden. I hope to fuck it wasn't Martin Van Buren.
10- NATO acted dishonorably in not helping in the Strait, but we don't need their help.
11- We need a little time to open up the Strait, but the U.S. doesn't need the Strait.
12. Oil tanker captains who won't go through the Strait are cowards.
13- We may take Kharg Island, or we may not, or we may bomb it just for fun.
14- No one knows who killed the school kids.
15. The whole thing is like Wii Sports -- see White House video.
16. Short term pain, long term gain (or, no, that was Melania's wedding vow.)
I still feel I'm missing the big picture. What did I leave out??
