Don't forget to send poor Donny all your spare change. For some odd reason, the people who have loved him and gave the billionaire-moocher everything he needed, are taking their marbles and going home.
As a reminder, Trump was outspent in 2016. He doesn't need the money as much. His brand name carries a lot of weight with his followers. And that'd actually help the GOP because they could move that money to Senate/House races.Don't forget to send poor Donny all your spare change. Three billionaires DUMP Trump in two days: Estée Lauder heir and longtime ally Ronald Lauder says he will NOT back 2024 run as Republican megadonors desert ex-president
I thought Trump was so rich he didn’t need donors. Isn’t that what he said the first time he ran?

Lying sack of crap.
Donald Trump Jr launches news aggregation app MxM News
App, which refers to ‘minute by minute’, aims to compete with Apple News and Google News – but will it fact-check Trump’s big lie?www.theguardian.com
Yes. But again, talking about 2016. You need to stop thinking about Trump conventionally. He defies all convention. His cult of personality carries weight money isn't needed to carry. So the question becomes is his base defiant enough to win primaries. As a reminder, Trump was outspent in 2016. He doesn't need the money as much. His brand name carries a lot of weight with his followers. And that'd actually help the GOP because they could move that money to Senate/House races.
In 2020 Trump spent 1.91 billion to Biden’s 1.68 billion. And raised 1.96 billion, so you have to figure that he pocketed most of the other $50m he raised. Today he is living the billionaire version of hand to mouth, robbing Peter to pay Paul at every turn and begging for money using threats of extinction…
No.is his base defiant enough to win primaries.
DeSantis could potentially be very over-rated as far as popularity. The Democrat Party in Florida is in ruins.
Trump loves the grift.
SHHHHH!Don’t they have to wait until January?
What does Ron DeSantis have that every other candidate in 2016 didn't have? I mean, yes, he is more fascist, but there was a little of everything in 2016. Major league cunt in Ted Cruz, very popular purple state Governor and conservative in John Kasich, young up and comer Marco Rubio, and family dynasty Jeb Bush. Trump was an asshole who called people names and talked about his genitals.. and he was going to make America great again by forcing other people to do things. That is what won enough of the vote, just a plurality.No.is his base defiant enough to win primaries.
His base is comprised mainly of low-information folks of below-average intelligence who are easily distracted by shiny objects.
Ron DeSantis will suffice for that purpose.
The point is the demographics in Florida don't match well with other battleground states. And the established competition in battleground states is going to be much tougher. The Democrats are never taking Wisconsin, Michigan, or Pennsylvania for granted again. That's a feature, not a glitch. Has there ever been any governmental disaster wrought by Republicans for which they didn't effectively blame Democrats?DeSantis could potentially be very over-rated as far as popularity. The Democrat Party in Florida is in ruins.
There are a lot of benefits to having a constituency that is collectively as dumb as a box of rocks.
… and DeSantis they shall have.the right-wing mainstream groups are pushing DeSantis.
…at least he was until today.Jack Smith is a consummate professional.
Note the extreme gerrymandering done in Florida by De Santis. He basically turned three blue districts into red through gerrymandering alone. The same was done in several other states too.I'd also note that DeSantis could potentially be very over-rated as far as popularity. The Democrat Party in Florida is in ruins. With the GOP successfully brainwashing the Cubans Hispanics into thinking the Democrats are communists, they have won way too much of that demographic to be competitive. Cuban Hispanics are NOT a common demographic outside of Florida. And while Venezuelan immigrants might be of similar mind, there isn't enough of them either.
Donald Trump, the twice-impeached former president who tried to overturn the 2020 elections and inspired the violent attack on the Capitol after he lost, tried his best to woo the QAnon crowd during his 2024 campaign announcement speech on Tuesday night.
Not only did he invite QAnon influencers to attend the event at his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida, Trump repeated several QAnon dog whistles during the 70-minute long speech, including multiple references to the storm, a well-known trope within the conspiracy movement. But while influential adherents to the movement were thrilled, most QAnon-ers posting on Telegram last night, in fact, reacted angrily to Trump’s announcement. This could be a worrying sign for Trump’s 2024 campaign, coupled with the growing resentment against the former president inside the Republican party after major GOP midterm election losses.
