Something is going to happen. Ukro-Regime openly admits assassination of Ilia Kiva (former Ukrainian Parliament member who left Ukraine and was in opposition in Zelesky regime) in Russia and even parade the pictures of his body.
Kiva was a colorful individual. He was an early supporter of Maidan Coup and even was a member of a Right Sector. But then went into opposition into regime and left Ukraine, he was not shy in his attacks on Ukrainian Regime.
Don't forget grenade "accident" and poisoning of Budanov's wife. Something is cooking in that dump called Ukrainian government.

What reasonable Ukranian was against the Maiden uprising?!! Yanuksonofabitch was awful. Incredibly corrupt. A Putler puppet. When the Ukranian legislature passed measures to increase trade with the EU, Yanukie illegally violated the measures. When people started to peacefully protest, Yanukie created an illegal private force and killed around 100 protestors! Jesus Christ, in the US, we impeach presidents for having kids who cheat on their taxes! The Ukranians had plenty of reasons to evict Yanukie without any US help!

Is there anyone here who understands American politics who can explain why the Republicans are blocking further support of Ukraine? I thought both parties were committed to helping Ukraine?

It’s not too complicated. Trump is likely a Russian agent. Probably compromised decades ago in a honey pot scheme. He will do Putin’s bidding. And his followers believe him. The hard right actually supports Russia. They admire his homophobia, his standing up for Christian values. They are isolationists - America first!

We have a long history of such views. It was evident and strong in the 30’s. Many Americans admired Hitler. Many wanted to see the US become a fascist dictatorship. Hitler was doing well economically while we were struggling. There was even a possible coup being planned. These trends live on.
