Amazing new AI system - GPT-3 and generating images from text

In the future I think AI would be able to generate video in real time and respond to keyboard/mouse input so you can interact with it.
Now AI can generate interactive games though at the moment it is low resolution at 1 frame per second. It generates the game logic just based on game play footage it has viewed. It can generate the game based on text, drawing or photo input.

Seems like it's reverse engineering the game logic.

Oh dear. I hope they don't have it watch action films and it'll reverse engineer fight scenes where 12 people face one hero... but each fight him one at a time.

The end of this video shows Tesla's Optimus Gen 2 moving an egg from one hand to another....
So much engineering has gone into the hands. In a year, it will be able to thread a needle.
That is mind blowing....

BTW I think Telsa's bots will be able to use a language model so that they can deal with natural language when people make requests.
Well OpenAI's latest robot "Figure 01" is 100 times better... (2:34 minute video)

BTW Telsa's robot involves it initially imitating humans in motion capture type suits/gloves but OpenAI's "Figure 01" learned it itself.

The voice sounds like a pretty awkward guy rather than a professional.

I’m not sure how it learnt its movements. Maybe partly from videos it’s watched?

Realtime AI Video Game Generators - early stages of how I think our possible simulation could work:

In the future these kinds of things could be connected to VR and eventually connect to an uploaded mind.

Here someone spent 8 hours creating a fake news segment where the script, voices and video were AI generated...

In the future it would be even more convincing...

This is about "hallucinations"...

I couldn't find the 76 so I asked Copilot:

copilot2.PNG
copilot3.PNG
There are actually two 78s in that hallucination...

Then I switched Copilot to "smart" mode (GPT-5)

Here is the image you can use if you want to try it with an AI:

DeepSeek gave good results though (saying it couldn't find it but maybe if you squint)

I've searched and searched and even with the info provided I cannot see a 78 or a 76. 😒

I have found in my limited interactions with AI that it does not want to disappoint you and it also wants to assume you are right most of the time. So if you are suggesting that something false is true it is going to work hard to agree with you and then compliment you for your genius.

AI seems to me to be the modern day equivalent of consulting a psychic or and astrologer.

People really want to be told that the shit they believe is true, and AI is excellent at filling that role.

It gives plausible sounding advice on any topic, and as long as the questioner wasn't aware of the answer in advance (and if they were, why did they ask?) the recipient of this wisdom has no reason not to be satisfied.

Humans have always wanted to believe that something, or someone, has all the answers. AI is just the latest charlatan in town, claiming to be that guru. That's its purpose, and its only real value.

AI can also be used to impersonate famous people to create YouTube ads that scam gullible people out of money so that's valuable to some people. Well that's about being a charlatan too. Then there's the AI girlfriend.

ChatGTP thinks my theories of human life are fascinating. Revolutionary, even.
