Why the Constitution is now null and void

owes his freedom and probably his life, to the dictator of the world’s worst shithole.
Who dat? Kim Jong Un?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lol, no, Kim is just one of Trump's his side chicks, like Xi or Bin Salmon.
Leon is the little bird on his shoulder to whom he owes a quarter billion dollars worth of illegal access to classified documents including his competitors' contracts etc...
but his BOSS is his Uncle Vlad.

How about this....for decades I heard "it's not a revenue problem, it's a spending problem. We ow trillions and the interest on that debt is approaching a trillion. SO....how about we give it two years before we have any additional talk about cutting taxes. Let's SEE the debt drop. Use the savings to pay the debt, not to cover the tax cut. Bring it down first and THEN reward the upper class with a tax cut. THen...in THAT tax cut, require that the debt NOT increase. If it goes up, even a little bit that first year after a cut - revoke it until lawmakers can learn to spend within their means.
I agree with you. This is not yet the time for a tax cut.
How about something really radical? Tax the hell out of billionaires.
Nooo we must protect the poor billionaires. :(

I mean we know they paid 90% of Ukronazi-media, and we know BBC were copy-pasting them like crazy,
No we don't know that. We only know you keep saying it. One of Rump's tricks. Say an opinion loud enough and long enough, and people will believe it.
Rumpsuckers are stupid on average, but their outstanding and defining quality is not stupidity, but intellectual sloth.
Spent some time with one of my bro-in-laws yesterday who voted for Trump. He had no idea of what was going on with Trump and Musk.
My sister and bro-in-law is like that too. It's aggravating.
Do they buy eggs? Or is that still Biden’s fault? I should put Musk Nazi solute picture on the eggs at the store. They’re too stupid to notice the real problems so it might be okay to just troll them with inane shit that is on their level.

A nation that prints its own money cannot go bankrupt.
Tell that to Zimbabwe.
What @jonatha says is true, but incomplete. A nation that prints its own money cannot go bankrupt with respect to debt denominated in that nation's currency.

The USA has debts denominated only in US dollars, and so cannot be forced to default - they can always service and/or repay any of their debts.

Zimbabwe had debt denominated in South African Rand, Pounds Sterling, and US Dollars. None of which the Zimbabwe government can print.

Mister Musky needs to be subpoenaed by Congress like, yesterday.
I don't know why Dems aren't making more noise.
They tried it but were denied because they are the minority party.
Maybe some States need to put out warrants on him, start seizing properties etc.
And your side is the side that calls Trump Hitler?

Even if you do think Musk is Hitler, he is only working for Trump. Trump is the one you should be putting out warrants on and seizing property because Trump is the only one who has the authority over the executive branch. Trump created DOGE and a federal judge has assumed a non-existent authority to block the Department of Government Efficiency from Labor Department data essential for the Department of Government Efficiency to do its job.

So you should be going after Trump the elected POTUS who ran his platform on this issue everyday. But if Trump can't see this data who can see the data? If it is protected by privacy laws, how could it have been collected? If the data is private, what is the Treasury Department doing with it? Why can one Department that reports to the President have the data, but not another? Can judges deny the President from having information in departments that report to him? Can the CIA deny the President national security data? Somehow it is “unlawful” for the President to know what is going on in his government. If the government is not the President’s, whose government is it? The establishment’s? The civil service’s? The judiciary’s?

It looks like Trump needs to start cleaning out DOJ corruption even before he can have Musk continue with DOGE.

the President does not have the legal authority to create government departments. “DOGE” is not a part of the government and has not been ‘created’ by anyone other than Elon Musk’s imagination.

The president made an executive order on day one that security clearances can be given out without any background checks, financial disclosures, or conflict of interest disclosures. Then Musk was given some kind of “special government employee” status.

I agree that everything Musk is doing should be attributed to Trump. At least Trump because the Republican Congress is also complicit

DOGE is not a government department. It is an advisory group of people. So the president can not have advisory personnel now? How do you expect the POTUS to do his job with out advisory people to report to him?

In your world the POTUS can not delegate.

Musk already had the highest security clearance you can get because of his rocket business.

I didn’t say he can’t have an advisory group of people. Don’t put words in my mouth. I am just correcting your inaccurate characterization of Musk as a department.

But his teenaged interns didn’t.

Have you ever been or know/be related to someone who has been a government employee? Do you know the usual rigamarole they have to go through to even get the jobs these kids have let alone be awarded the highest security clearance.

It is dangerous to hand out bit the jobs and the clearances like candy.

I think his security clearance is for rockets and not Welfare and Foreign Aid and the Treasury. Speaking of rockets...it's great to know THOSE departments are squeaky clean when it comes to waste as he hasn't uncovered a dime of wasteful spending there. Or in the electric car industry. I wonder why,

It’s coming. Expect NASA to take a big hit in its development of the SLS rocket, with a move to give the Artemis missions over to SpaceX.

NASA likely to take a hit in its climate science missions. Similar to Trump first term except more expansive and without much pushback.

One of Musk’s boys apparently was fired from an internship for leaking information to a competitor. That would likely sink a true secret clearance application.

None of these fascist ops guys are ever to be held responsible. Congress is the only body with legal oversight of these illegal operations and they refuse to oversee it.
So illegal oversight is the only other option.
Time to fight fire with literal fire.

Speaking of climate...I can't wait for Leon to start slashing that green new deal....the one the came up with these cockamamie
carbon credits. It will be fun as something like 30% of Tesla's income comes from selling carbon credits.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Top Trump administration officials are openly questioning the judiciary’s authority to serve as a check on executive power as the new president’s sweeping agenda faces growing pushback from the courts.

Over the past 24 hours, officials ranging from billionaire Elon Musk to Vice President JD Vance have not only criticized a federal judge’s decision early Saturday that blocks Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency from accessing Treasury Department records, but have also attacked the legitimacy of judicial oversight, a fundamental pillar of American democracy, which is based on the separation of powers.

I don’t know if the supreme court will as willingly relinquish their power as Congress has.

Then again, it’s not like they can do anything about it if the executive simply takes it.

“Stop! Or I’ll say ‘stop’ again!!”
