There definitely seems to be a widespread misunderstanding that somehow the moon’s gravity is affecting water specifically in ways it doesn’t other things. It doesn’t help that most explanations of the tides for general consumption are usually partly or mostly wrong.

He does bring up a great point. Because everyone that is born in one half of February is entirely different from the other half of February. In fact, it is easy to tell when people are born based on their personalities.

I mean, how many times have you talked to someone and then said, "You were born in early December, weren't you?"

So clearly the gravity of star systems hundreds to hundreds of thousands of light years away has some impact. Because, you know, the tide!
