Putin was delighted to plunge the USA into political chaos, and to help elect a President so incompetent that he will degrade American greatness and lower the world's opinion of the USA. All around the world people that said "I despise Putin and his Russia" are now saying "I also despise Trump and his USA." Russia and its BRICS partners benefit greatly from Trump's corruption and mistakes.

That Trump is so stupid and malleable that he sometimes prefers Putin's opinions over those of America's top analysts is just gravy.

The claim that the Steele Dossier has been debunked is nonsense. It just hasn't been proven. That it hasn't been debunked is obvious given the £300,000 judgment AGAINST Trump for his frivolous slander suit against Steele & Company. (Did Trump ever cough up the 300 grand?)

Christopher Steele is a highly-respected intelligence expert: He headed MI-6's Russia desk; and led Project Charlemagne. His claim that Putin's mob arranged a honeypot trap for Trump at Moscow's Ritz-Carlton became very likely when Trump lied about leaving Moscow rather than spending the night at that hotel.

Trump is aware that Putin hasn't played his blackmail card so Trump is somewhat less of a lackey these days. Playing that "trump card!" would hurt Putin's cozy relationship with the Orange Idiot.

That direct editing is what I mostly do on laptop. One of my problems is my largish fingers and the small keyboard on the phone -- about a fifth the size of my laptop's keyboard. (Rotating the phone enlarges the keys only slightly.) I type at rather high speed on the laptop, though still hitting wrong keys occasionally. But my fingers get only a small fraction of that speed on the phone.

I also do mouse click-and-drag frequently; e.g. for erasure or to quote Wikipedia. But even a simple drag is annoying to attempt on the phone. Many apps don't even implement the obvious features.

I've only ever used Samsung Android. Would I be happier with an iPhone?

The thing about Trump is that except for the Epstein stuff ( which has been public for years now) which somehow is now coming to light again—as it should! he’s so full of obvious flaws: his overt racism and sexism, his dishonesty in his business dealings, his incompetence in business, his philandering and womanizing, his confessions of liking them ‘on the younger side’ aka: underage, walking in on teenagers undressing—the only thing he’s got going for him is other people’s bigotries and grudges. Any and certainly all of them should be disqualifying, not to mention his willful ignorance of history, government, the US Constitution, for starters. His one talent is grift. He’s genius at that.

CIA and Mossad or even Putin have nothing on him that is not public knowledge unless Epstein also had little boys on his island and Putin has the goods.

Since no one seems to know how Epstein made his money, it's likely no one knows where all of it is. If he wanted to disappear, his timing was poor.

It's fun to imagine Epstein sitting on a beach drinking a Pina colada, but that's an exponential increase in conspiracy theory. If such a thing was possible, he would have been on that beach when the FBI showed up at his New York Town House.

Trump has done lots of things he isn't allowed to do with tariffs, expelling people from the country, impounded spending. Trump said he could declassify documents by merely thinking it. So why all of a sudden is Trump incapable of releasing files?

Trump has tried to smokescreen this with the grand jury testimony stunt and now the whole Maxwell situation. He has the documents... why doesn't HE, the President of the United States, release them?

There are two bruises for the ligature mark on the victim's right hand side (assuming it's not reversed).

With a hanging, we would expect a a single mark, but with that, it looks like the ligature shifted, as if being strangled by someone who shifted their grip or angle.

Or if doing your own half-assed hanging kind of on-the-fly, using only the materials,
room configuration, etc you happen to have on hand.

Like he got a quick over-the-head with a garotte held down, as if directly behind and pushing the "victim" to his knees with the force, sparing the sides of the neck; and then pulling the handles across each other, pulling it more perpendicular and causing heavier bruising to the back and sides of the neck.

That reads better as screenplay than autopsy, doctor.

Please note: I am not taking a side on his death being suicide or murder. I don’t know, either way, probably never will, and I’m okay with that.

Yeah. There clearly are marks unrelated to his actual death--but I'm not aware of anything about the scene that precludes them from being from a bungled first attempt. Prisoners are not exactly in a position to engineer high reliability means of suicide.
