Charlie Kirk shot at (shot?) in Utah

If you are worried about immigration, just wait until climate change kicks in big time. The number of climate refugees will be far greater than what we see now.

All the more reason for western countries to modernize the immigration/asylum laws NOW to prevent continued wholesale invasion by mass migrants from incompatible cultures.

The Muslim population of UK is 6.0 percent and of Germany 6.6 percent.
Which, according to Derec, is a very large and highly significant proportion of the population.
No, less than that. Blacks are about 13% of the population, which would make black women ~6.5%.
Which, obviously, is a tiny and frankly negligible proportion of the population.

Funny how that works.

the actual pool was restricted to elected officials like Kamala Harris or Val Demings, as well as other prominent politicians like Susan Rice. There were maybe five black women that were seriously considered. That's ~0.0000015%.
So, black women cannot be considered for positions of authority, because there are not enough black women in positions of authority?

Radical Christianity is just as incompatible with US culture (as set out in your constitution) as radical Islam, and only the former is an existential threat to the USA.

Gosh, look at these right-wing hate machine memes: wholesale invasion ,,, mass migrants … incompatible cultures. …

You just buy every bit of garbage the right-wing hate machine shoves down through throat, don’t you?

There are some 750,00 Muslims living in New York City, where I live — 9 percent of the population, greater than in the UK and Germany. Like everyone in NYC, the vast majority of them are peaceful, law-abiding, and hardworking. I know the right-wing hate machine tells you that New York City is a crime-ridden hell pit, but that is another right-wing hate machine lie. For some years now, NYC has been the safest big city in the U.S. — and it is simply teeming with diversity.

And we are about to elect a Muslim mayor.

I bet that really grates on you, doesn’t it?

Let’s see, what I do today in New York City?

Took my morning constitutional down to Chinatown, where I brought fruit on the cheap — not just exotic tropical fruits like rambutan and lychee and dragon fruit from a Chinese vendor, but also raspberries and strawberries from a Vietnamese vendor, who often gives me discounts because he calls me, “good man, good man!”

Of course, to get there, I had to pass through LIttle Italy, which is currently holding the 99th annual San Gennaro street festival to celebrate NYC’s Italian culture. Although I’m sure I’ll buy something there in the coming days — the lasagna is out of this world — I decided it was a little overpriced, so I paid a visit to my Muslim halal street cart vendor for a five-dollar falafel pita packed with onions, radishes, broccoli, green and red papers, salad, tomatoes, carrots and other stuff I can’t even recall. For five dollars! Oh, and topped off by hummus.

Reading the weather report, I learned it was supposed to be eighty degrees and sunny in Coney Island. So I headed out there. It turned out to be a lie, no doubt propounded by incompetent white male American weather forecasters. It was overcast, rainy and windy. This was a real shame, because it meant that the Puerto Rican bomba and salsa musicians were not at their usual roost in front of the main bathroom on the boardwalk. The boardwalk was drearily and eerily silent of all that soul music. :sadcheer:

So I came in early and met my friend of Guatemalan and Mayan descent for drinks. We chatted with the bar back, a Mexican immigrant — whether legal or illegal, I do not know or care.

I just read that Europe is celebrating Kirk's movement and are mourning his death. The hard right is rising in many European countries, including England, Spain, Germany, Italy, to name some. WTF is going on in the world? Racism and xenophobia are on the rise. A lot of Kirk's supporters around the world are Bible believers who....ok. I'm going to be sick if I keep thinking about this.

There are several articles in the NYTimes about it. Maybe I'll post one later, but it's in lots of other places so you all can do your own research. I even saw an article that mentioned there are a lot of people in some of the Asian countries supporting the Kirk movement. They are also saying that the left are murderers and Trump is great. WTF? How did this happen? Are we sliding back to the dark ages or what?

Is Kirk the new Jesus? It's hard to understand how such a deplorable person is being celebrated around the world. One could say it was a positive that he was willing to engage all kinds of people, including those who disagreed with him, but his racist, sexist, anti gay/trans remarks are no reason to praise him. This is one more reason why murder sometimes has consequences that aren't expected or understood. Such good Christians. /s Whatever happened to the concept of loving one another, turning the other cheek, and not judging others etc. that were part of the religious training I received as a child?

Let me clarify that I never support murder, but I also don't understand the idea that someone who was assassinated was some kind of martyr. Not even if it's someone who supported a good cause. I don't understand those who murder. Some are nuts. Some go off the deep end. Some want to go down in a blaze of glory. In the case of the shooter of Kirk, It seems as if he was just upset and angry by Kirk's hatred of the LBGTQ community. That doesn't justify what he did, and sadly, it's actually helping promote Kirk's movement.
Europeans aren't as different from us as they pretend or imagine. Fascism is the sleeping giant we inherited from Europe, and which will forever threaten us all.

I've still seen no reasonable evidence that the Kirk killing had anything at all to do with LGBTQ issues. But that is already becoming the "canonical" view, just as Columbine became about "a bullied kid lashing out and talking his innocent friend into accessory" a few weeks into that crisis, and remains that long after complicating evidence came to light.

The Internet is causing US propaganda to propagate far beyond its intended targets.
I don't think so. There are articles in the most respected news sources about this. I'm sure if you have been following the news, you realize that it's not just the US that is turning to the far right. It's an epidemic. Of course, not all Europeans are mourning his death, but enough are to make the news in many places.

And, in the US, sadly, ABC just removed Jimmy Kimmel from the air after he made some statements about Kirk's shooter. He said he was a MAGA supporter and also criticized the felon. His show is very popular, especially among those who aren't fans of the orange menace but ABC doesn't have the balls to keep him on the air. They didn't say his show has been discontinued. They said it was indefinitely suspended.

Yep. He does. Paranoid garbage custom designed for incels and white Xtian extremists.

It's reasonable IMO to conjecture that it was personal, and about his relationship with his roommate/SO.
That could make him a big un-fan of Charlie.

Charlie Kirk’s influence went far beyond the United States.

Days before Mr. Kirk, a right-wing activist was fatally shot at a campus event in Utah on Wednesday, he was addressing audiences in Seoul and Tokyo, speaking at conferences there about the conservative movement and how he had recruited young conservatives to join the MAGA movement.

Turning Point USA, the right-wing activist organization Mr. Kirk founded, is a “youth movement that is sweeping the world,” he said last week in a panel interview at Build Up Korea, a conservative conference in Seoul.

“It is a joy to see what we’ve been able to build in America come to South Korea,” he said. Speaking before a crowd that chanted “U-S-A! U-S-A!”, Mr. Kirk discussed the importance of the Bible and encouraged young people to get married and have more children.

Mr. Kirk’s conservative message and influence, which made him a close ally of President Trump’s, has also found audiences among young people in Europe in recent years.

Turning Point UK, the British offshoot of Mr. Kirk’s organization, was founded in 2019 to challenge what it called a far-left bias in schools. Nigel Farage, leader of the anti-immigrant party Reform U.K., offered a tribute for Mr. Kirk in the House of Commons on Thursday, saying that Mr. Kirk had a growing online presence in Britain, especially after his recent trip.

Mr. Kirk wrote about his visits to Oxford University and the University of Cambridge in May in the conservative British magazine The Spectator, saying he encountered a “wall of hostility” at Cambridge.

He described the atmosphere as similar to what he had found in the United States several years earlier as, he said, American college-age students “moved toward Trump.” He wrote that Cambridge students had seethed when he described pandemic lockdowns as pointless and “forced submission to mRNA shots” as “tyranny.”

This is just one of many articles. The other ones had a lot more information, if I have time, I will add more. If you think the US is the only country going far right crazy, have I got news for you.

LONDON — If Donald Trump wins the U.S. presidential election next month, he will find across the Atlantic a hotbed of political parties that share his rightward mix of authoritarianism, populism and extreme hostility to immigration.

This is the rise of the European far right, which reached a high-water mark on Sept. 29 when Austria’s Freedom Party won the largest share of votes — 28.9 % — in the national election. The FPÖ, as it’s known, was founded by former Nazis and wants to “remigrate” Austrian nationals with migrant roots to create a more “homogenous” society.

This is not a new trend, and its current cycle has been covered by NBC News and others for at least a decade. But the last 12 months have been a bonanza for this former fringe of the political spectrum. There have been big wins for France’s National Rally, led by Marine Le Pen, as well as for Dutch anti-Islam radical Geert Wilders and the neighboring Alternative for Germany, which is being monitored by Berlin’s own intelligence agency for suspected extremism.

“The overall trend is unmistakable: The far right is gaining ground,” said Matthijs Rooduijn, a politics professor at the University of Amsterdam. European “far-right parties are here to stay,” agreed Cas Mudde, a professor of international affairs at the University of Georgia and the author of 2019’s “The Far Right Today.”
The above link is from last year so it doesn't mention Kirk, and I don't have time right now to find the other articles. Please do your DD.

The trans roommate and the relationship therewith are also in dispute. I've known used car salesmen more trustworthy than Kash Patel. Who just this morning testified to Congress that Jeffrey Epstein is not under suspicion of trafficking girls, because Trump told him to. Ditto Cox. When we hear something about this supposed relationship from someone who isn't directly in bed with Trump and the rest of the Manhattan Christian Pedophile Society, I'll be more inclined to believe that those are at least supporting facts, even if that still wouldn't proof of a motive. I used to be married to a cis woman, but that doesn't even every murder I've committed since then has been "abouf feminism".

Anti-migrant extremist Tommy Robinson drew over 110,000 people to the London protest, which turned violent. Experts say it was the largest far-right rally in U.K. history.

September 14, 2025

LONDON — Tens of thousands of anti-migrant protesters marched through the center of Britain’s capital in record numbers over the weekend, showcasing the grip of nationalist sentiment across Europe and the growing appeal here of MAGA-style politics.

According to police estimates, around 110,000 joined the Saturday protest — an unexpectedly high turnout that anti-extremism group Hope Not Hate said represented the largest far-right protest in the country’s history.

The weekend rally was marked by extremist anti-migrant rhetoric and violent assaults against police officers, 26 of whom were injured as some of the protesters kicked, punched and launched projectiles, the Met Police said in a statement. In an email Sunday, police said they arrested 21 men and three women for offenses including affray, violent disorder, assaults and criminal damage.

The long-planned rally was organized by the British anti-migrant extremist Tommy Robinson, who said last week that it would double as an exercise of free speech in memory of Charlie Kirk, the conservative activist who was shot dead Wednesday in Utah. His killing sent shock waves throughout not just the United States but also the populist right globally.

There's a lot more in the article if you care to read it, although WaPo sometimes asks for emails or other shit. I can post more tomorrow if anyone is interested.

There are legitimate problems in Europe that the Right exploits. Economic stagnation yes, and that is always water on the mills of populists from the right and the left. But then you have the problem of mass migration and creeping islamization that the mainstream parties refuse to acknowledge. Often even the conservative ones. David Cameron, former Tory UK prime minister, said in 2007 that "it is mainstream Britain which needs to integrate more with the British Asian [in UK that means South Asian, and mostly Pakistani] way of life, not the other way around". Angela "Willkommenskultur" Merkel, the former German chancellor (CDU), opened the floodgates in 2015 and greatly exacerbated the mass Muslim migration crisis.
And many Europeans are sick of being called racist and xenophobic for opposing current mass migration where thousands of people keep coming in every day, and it is virtually impossible to deport them.
Parties like AfD, Reform UK and Rassemblement national offer wrong solutions, but they have the advantage of offering something, instead of glibly saying "wir schaffen das" while the country gets more and more islamicized.
White boy murders another white boy in America... and we are talking about Muslims in Europe?

Are we really comparing a war of independence with some loser assassinating a political commentator because he did not agree with what he said?
good-bussy-v0-j2naor86trpf1.png
The alt-right sounds like they want to make this into a war. This has a vibe of the Reichstag Fire.

And now the party that threw hissy fits over "cancel culture" has managed to get Jimmy Kimmel cancelled. Why?

It wasn't anything he said about Kirk. Or about his family. He suggested that the killer wasn't what Maga was making him out to be. He's been pulled off the air for not pushing the administration's narrative.

Because this the Trumptard administration and MAGA are entire hypocrites and liars.
