Spoken like a true simpleton. After the 2020 election I was told how safe, secure, and resistant to tampering or stealing our elections were, and anyone who said otherwise was a right-wing kook.
It's very difficult to falsify election results in the US; Difficult to the point of being essentially impossible. The counts presented are within a few votes of being an exact and accurate count of the votes cast, in every case. And falsifying or changing those counts without getting caught is just not going to happen.
However, it is fairly easy to move the boundaries of districts in order to get the results you want in a FPTP system - a technique known as "Gerrymandering", which does not involve mis-counting of votes.
And it is also fairly easy to prevent people from voting at all - particularly when voting is entirely optional. Simply reducing the number of voting places where your opponents live, so that lines are long and people don't bother to vote, can have a big impact, as can eliminating 'early voting' and access to postal votes in such places.
An accurate count (no matter how impossible it would be to miscount) of a biased sample is not an accurate representation of the wider system.
After 2020, when it was demonstrated how safe, secure, and resistant to tampering your elections are, those who sought to subvert them had to find a way to do so within the constraints of a tamper-resistant poll, and have done so.
But don't mind the complex truth; Your simple sound-bite is better than any real argument at swaying the opinions of simpletons.
It's far easier to lie to people so that they are happy while their democracy is subverted, than it is to get them to try to grasp a nuanced and complex reality.
So, congratulations for choosing the easy path over the honest one. I hope it brings you happiness.
