I'm not even sure that what I read about her volunteering to watch the protest and report any incidents etc was correct because another source said she was on her way home from dropping her 6 year old son off at school. So, that may be the real reason she was there. Her wife was at the protest, but nobody was harmed other than Reed and she lived in the neighborhood. Our country has permitted peaceful protests, at least prior to the current administration, so how is attending a peaceful protest a nutty thing? The protesters didn't violate any laws, but it sure looks as if ICE did, based on what I've read and seen on the videos. Why was she there? She lived a couple of blocks from the protests and she was a volunteer sent there to try and keep things under control, and report anything the police did as inappropriate. How tragically ironic.
Really? How was she going to keep things "under control"?
This is the sort of nonsense I am talking about when I say so many white women are mentally unhinged. It seems Renee's wife was the one that got her into this situation. This was an easily avoidable event.
Plus, you keep making assumptions about women. What about all the men that were at that protest? Were they all mentally ill?
Nobody should be afraid to travel in their own neighborhood due to ICE. It was not Reed's fault as to what happened. She was just trying to get away from some crazy out of control members of ICE. Plus, witnesses said that ICE confused her. One told her to leave the area and another told her to get out of her car. How would you feel if ICE was in your neighborhood while you were running an errand and ICE threatened you? Your frequent remarks that try to make the victim look like she was acting nutty are nutty.
